when steve and Eddie were done hugging, Eddie and steve laid down, talking about the most random topics they could think of, Eddie starts getting a random headache
"shit-" Eddie sat up, holding his head in pain
"are you ok?" steve sat up, looking at him in worry
Eddie groaned "yeah just a migraine"
steve's eyes widen "Eddie. what is your favorite song, if this is what I think it is I need to know what your favorite song is immediately"

before he could finish his sentence, his nose started bleeding a lot "shit!-" Eddie held his nose
steve pulled Eddie to him "listen to me. you know all the Highschool students and parents and kids that have gone missing?"
Eddie nodded as he continue to hold his nose
"that is from this other dimension we have, it's basically Hawkins but.. somethings off about it. very very off, it is Hawkins, but everything is black and houses are covered in vines that are alive, Eddie. Hawkins is cursed, we call the other dimension the upside down" steve looked at Eddie dead in the eyes
"but what does this have to do with the missing people in Hawkins?" Eddie wiped his nose
"there's this person.. his name is vecna. he takes kids with trauma and plays with there feelings, until he finally kills them, that's what happened with chrissy."
Eddie's eyes widen "so that bitch killed chrissy basically with his mind?"
steve nodded and gave Eddie a few tissues "we looked into there school files, they were having the same thing your having now. if you go to sleep and have nightmare, your his next target. that's why I need to know your favorite song, it helps you escape from dying."
Eddie was frozen, why was he the next target? was it due to his parents? chrissy? why does vecna want him
"it all sounds like make believe or kinda li-"
Eddie immediately cut steve off "this is like a dnd game! we're living in a fucking dnd game!"
"never played it so I don't know" steve crossed his arms "wait is it that game you play with henderson?"
"yeah we play together all the ti-" Eddie looked at steve then his phone, he scoots towards the phone and starts dialing Dustin's number
"hello? this is henderson correct? it's Eddie" Eddie was biting his finger nails
"yeah good ok, I need you to get max, Nancy wheeler, the sinclaires and robin all over at my house"
steve mouthed to him "what are you doing?"
Eddie replied "saving myself, duh"
steve giggled and Eddie giggled a bit as well "alright man see you in a bit" he hung up the phone
