Steve and Eddie would be completely silent, when all of a sudden, steve feels a gentle touch on his arm
"yeah what's up?" steve asked, looking at Eddie.
Eddie looked at him, deeply staring at his eyes.
"oh uhm- can i have your number? y'know so then we can study over the summer?" Eddie slightly whispered,
steve was zoned out for half of them time, not even realizing what the teacher said
"we have to study over the summer?" steve slightly whispered back.
"yeah? to take a beginning of the year test? what have you been doing?" Eddie asked, slightly smiling
"sorry i have a lot on my mind so I was completely zoned out, but sure" Steve felt nervous around eddie, no matter what he didn't feel the same around him
Eddie gave him a tiny piece of paper, setting it on steve's arm.
Steve gave Eddie the warmest smile he could see.
Eddie's eyes widen as he could feel himself turn a bit red, looking away from him
after school was over, steve would realize that Robin wasn't waiting for him
"ugh probably went to vickie's" steve rolled his eyes
before getting in his car, steve would realize Eddie was getting picked on by jason
"this is why the whole school thinks your gay" jason would laugh with his group
"why the fuck would it matter if I was? and ever hear about something called pansexual dumbass?" Eddie would flip him off
"you fucking fag!" Jason would punch the shit out of him
"HEY JASON" steve would walk up to him, pushing him to the ground and stomped on his stomach.
"STEVE ARE YOU DEFENDING THIS FAG? HE LITERALLY LIKES MEN!" jason would laugh.
"why does it matter? are you that desperate for someone to call someone a fag because there gay?" steve picked Eddie up and flipped Jason off, walking to his car
Eddie's eyes were filled with tears. "fuck man.."
"I'm taking you to my place don't worry, you'll be ok" Steve set Eddie in the passenger seat
after they got there, steve would see Dustin, Lucas, mike, robin, and max all standing at his door
"god dammit! i forgot about the party tonight" steve sighed and put his hand on his head
Eddie had fallen asleep in the passenger seat, steve went over to the passenger side and picked him up bridal style.
"aw how sweet, little Stevie got a boyfriend" max chuckled, knowing that steve hasn't cared about someone like this, except Nancy when they were dating.
"max seriously? I'm not gay! im straight! jason just knocked him the fuck out"
Steve questioned what he said in his mine and gazed at his face features for a moment, he gazed more at his lips then anything.
Robin whispered to max. "he keeps gazing at his face"
the two both laughed.
steve walked Eddie into his house and then went upstairs into his room, setting eddie down on his bed and putting a blanket over him, slightly smiling at eddie.
steve walked down stairs, going back to the party. "so, what would you guys like to do? board games, movie, or the pool?
they all looked at each other. "I choose board games" max finally broke the silence, putting her hand on her hip.
they all nodded there head in agreement, Steve went over to the board games and picked a random one, they all sat on the floor and gathered around the game.
after a few hours, Eddie finally woke up, sitting up and holding his head. "fuck-.." he looked around steve's room for a moment, finally getting up and stretching.
all of a sudden, he here's everybody yelling 'NO COME ON!' from downstairs
Eddie opened steve's door and went downstairs. The first person he saw was steve, laughing and smiling. Eddie's face lit up and slightly smiled seeing how happy Steve is when he's with his kid friends.
"look who finally decided to join us, and look! he's smiling at steve" Robin looked at Eddie and teased him.
Eddie immediately looked at robin, glaring at her. "it's not my fault you guys are loud as fuck" He crossed his arms.
Steve turned his head towards Eddie and smiled at him. "well good morning Eddie, come sit down with us we're playing a board game!"
Eddie smiled and sat right next to steve.
The party all looked at each other and slightly smiled.
"so, what are we playing today?" Eddie looked at everyone.
