It has already been a full 24 hours of knowing Katie, and honestly, she is starting to grow on Donnie. He never realized how lonely he was until he met her. She had this funny side of her that reminded him of Mikey, but she's more mellow than he is.

Together, they walked alongside each other, sharing stories from their past and every once in a while, Katie would get Donnie to laugh, hearing his small snorts and settled chuckles. She really loved talking to him, especially when it came to how he lived and interacted with each of his brothers and Splinter. Katie is very intrigued by the way he lived and did what imagined what it would have been like being in his shoes. Pretty much, during the next three hours, they got to know each other.

"...Hawaii was so fun." Katie giggled, reminiscing the fun and unforgettable memories she shared and created with her family. She really missed those little crabs on the sand and the consistent crashing of the ocean waves.

"Sounds fun." Says Donnie, thinking of something else to talk about-- he didn't want to stay on one subject for too long. Right away, he thought of a topic... one that he hoped wouldn't be too touchy for Katie. "Where... Where were you during the breakout?" He asked.

"Pittsburgh," Katie says, not bothered by the question. "My family and I are from there... It was becoming a quarantine zone, but that didn't last long."

Don was sort of curious. "Why not?"

Katie explains what had happened. "Someone got bit-- said nothing and turned. He attacked Section B off the zone and, boom! The infection spread like wildfire." She takes a breath, swinging her arms back and forth as she walked. From the words she used, he could see the past. She remembers how the military was missing their shots on the infected and failed to keep most of the quarantine zone's people safe. "It was still so early during the breakout that the military had a difficult time controlling the situation."

"Damn..." Donnie muttered, feeling terrible about Katie's past. Of course, most families will experience very tough times. "So, you left the zone?"

"Yeah," Katie said. "Dad got us outta there the next day. Then a few days later, we ran into this other family-- told us the Pittsburgh Zone had gone out of commission. It's a ghost town now."

"Well, sh*t." The mutant turtle says, looking forward. Just further ahead up the road, the neighborhood came to an end and exposed Donnie and Katie to a variety of stores on a busy road. They could see Target, fast food restaurants, automotive shops, gas stations, essential stores, and anything else that provided or entertained the human race.

As they walked some more, Katie caught sight of a store that she thought was very amusing, yet interesting. She has never been to one of these stores before... At the top of the store, it read 'Lovers' in big purple letters. "Check it out." She pointed with a slight giggle in the back of her throat. Katie stops in the middle of the road and looks at her mutant friend with a wide grin on her lips.

Don raised an eyebrow ridge at her at scoffed roughly. "Don't think I'm f*cking going in there." He laughs.

"Oh, come on!" Katie pouted, walking backward. "Donnie, it's the end of the world and I have never seen... toys."

He couldn't believe this right now. Donnie met Katie yesterday and somehow he ended up accompanying her to this store full of sex toys. "You gotta be kidding." He rolled his eyes, yet he followed Katie into the 'toy' store full of very... strange, large... and funky objects made to pleasure people. As soon as he set eyes on the racks, Donnie felt uneasy. "What the actual f* ck...?"
