𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲 & 𝗰𝗹𝘆𝗱𝗲 ; a. itto

"where did that fool run off to?"

"he was looking at something in the distance and poof... he's gone" yoimiya huffed

"so speedy when it comes to other people's business but when it comes to schoolwork he 'draws a blank'" gorou sighed

"so he was looking at someone!"

"we're back," heizou said in a sing-songy voice, irritating his rival- gorou

"shut up. where were you?" gorou said, murmuring the last part

"awwww, was gorouwy rorouwy scawed about me?" heizou gushed

"i'll fucking kill you"

"owchie"

"what were you doing with itto, y/n?" kazuha asked, still eating thoma's food

"WHAT" yoimiya exclaimed snapping her head to y/n who was on her phone

"huh?"

y/n looked up from her phone for a brief moment not fully processing what was said moments before

"wait what?!"

arataki itto and his gang are swamped. nobody is able to make up a plan to get back their beloved member, ushi. all of them were either exceedingly stupid or so fucking out-of-touch that they'd make the umehara gang pass out from confusion before a fight took place. itto took a deep breath and exhaled, but then he started choking. loyal members scrambled to his aid, bringing him some water before he waved them off saying that a few coughs couldn't and wouldn't defeat 'the oni sumo king'. mind clouded with getting ushi back and providing granny oni in the best way he can, itto's mind drifted back to y/n. he just couldn't understand why she didn't accept his offer. to reject 'the pride of oni' is one thing, but to make up a stupid compromise is another! her personality conflicted with those of people he's met before. when met face-to-face with arataki itto and his boisterous personality, some would become uncomfortable and others would try to use him for their own benefit. they blended in with the background. they lived boring lives, a no-no for itto. she seemed to fade in but behind closed doors, she... she was exhilarating. maybe thats why itto wanted her to be in the gang so much, maybe not.

"alright! i'm sick of this!" akira shouted

"why are we sitting here sulking?! why dont we just go down to the umehara gang and strike 'em down" he continued

"thats the best idea we've had all day!" another member assured

"woo! go akira!"

"what do ya' think boss! good idea or no?" akira asked, stars in his eyes from the possible praise he might get

itto who was somewhat already out of his thinking trance, slightly tired from putting his two brain cells to work mustered up the energy to be as loud as he could, warming the hearts of his gang

"listen up, arataki gang!"

"tomorrow we are gonna go to that filthy umehara gang's hideout and take back what they stole from us! and better yet... end them for good!"

cheers erupted from the crowd

"the arataki gang rules!"

"let's defeat those stupid umeharas!"

"they're goin' down!"

itto added to the cheering with his own loud voice, quietly breathing a sigh of relief as he was glad that his gang was back to their normal rowdy selves.

y/n silently cursed herself for insisting that her, kazuha, heizou, yoimiya, thoma, and gorou all had a free period together. staring at her five friends seated all on the same side- uniformly next to each other looking extremely serious- she felt out of place being the only one on the opposite side. she was so uncomfortable, in fact, she interrupted the melodic silence of the room to pull back a chair to put her bag on, hoping that it would make her feel less lonely. thoma's voice rang through the room

"y/n. it was told that you were with arataki itto?"

he was secretly enjoying this, playing pretend judge as one of his friends was "on trial". he shuffled some papers on his desk and then proceeded to straighten them, slightly giggling to himself. that did not go unnoticed by yoimiya, who was sitting next to him. she looked scared, terrified even as thoma kept laughing to himself. yoimiya scooted her away from him and closer to kazuha, expecting protection as she gave him thoma's treats a couple of minutes prior.

"thoma, please. you have to understand..." y/n stammered

"oh...! then tell me. tell me everything..." thoma proposed, a small smirk on his face
