"Ilang hours nga ulit?" tanong ko kay Michael habang nagddrive siya

We are heading to the airport for his flight to Canada and here I am inside his car. Nakaupo ako sa passenger's seat habang siya naman ang nagddrive. Magkakasama dapat kami nina Luke but they told me that I should go with Michael because he has something to say daw, privately. Pumayag naman ako dahil mukhang seryoso.

If you are asking about what happened last night, well panay ang asar sa akin nina Chikito after namin doon sa body shot.We ate doon sa mga stalls,then I bought some souvenirs para kina Charlyn and other friends, nagpabraid nga rin ako ng hair actually, plus nagpahenna tattoo!

Then, we spent the rest of the night outside our cottage. May mga chairs ang tables kasi sa harap nung cottage, then may swimming pool din mismo sa harapan. Uminom sila, pero slight lang dahil nagpromise na walang iinom para walang magsusuka at hindi mangangamoy ang room. Feeling ko pinariringgan lang nila ako! Amp. Nasuka kasi ako, remember? huhu.

So ayun, uminom silang slight habang nagkukwentuhan. Tapos yung iba, kasama pala ako hehe, nagbabad sa swimming pool. Sabi nga hanggang 9pm lang daw pwede magnight swimming pero batas sila eh. Plus, Michael is with us. The owner's son. Haha perks! Imagine, 3am na ata kami umahon sa swimming pool!

"Philippines is 14 hours ahead, babe" he answered

Napabilang ako bigla.

"Does that mean.. AM here would be PM there, minus two hours? Tama ba?"

"Yep" he nodded

"Eh!" napasinghap ako, "How are we supposed to talk to you kung ganoon? What time are we allowed to call ba?" tanong ko

Nakakaloka naman, umaga dito tapos gabi doon. Kapag gabi naman dito, umaga doon. Of course Michael would definitely live his life there. Hindi naman pwedeng guluhin pa rin namin siya para lang umakma oras niya sa amin.

"What?" he chuckled,"you are allowed to call me anytime, Daphnie."

"Talaga! Anytime?" halos manlaki ang mata ko, grabe siya talaga mag-aadjust para sa amin? "sabi mo yan ah! I'll tell the others na pwede kang tawagin, but of course you can reject our call if you really are busy, okay? No pressure!" dagdag ko

The car suddenly stopped.

Napatingin ako kay Michael pero nakatingin din pala siya sa akin.

"I said you are allowed, the guys aren't included."

"Oh.. bakit ako lang?" nagtatakang tanong ko pero napalitan ng ngisi ang pagtataka ko, "sinasabi ko na nga, ako favorite mo sa Newton!" natatawang sabi ko

He sighed, napailing-iling din, "You really are my favorite. So.." he turned and took something from the seats behind us. Paper bag iyon na color pink. Hindi malaki pero hindi din maliit. Sakto lang. Inabot niya yun sa akin.

"Is that for me?" I asked

"Yes. Will you check it?"

Napatango ako at tinanggap yung paper bag. I slowly untied the ribbon to see what's inside. May maliit na box sa loob.

Napakunot ang noo ko the moment I opened it. Tinignan ko si Michael, "Kuko?"

Oo, kuko! As in nails! Yung fake nails na dinidikit sa totoong nails. But this one? Dalawa silang nandito sa box and I think they are for my thumbs.

"Yeah, ayaw mo ba?" tawa niya

"Pinagttripan mo ba ako? Michael, may kuko na ako. Bakit mo ako binibigyan ng kuko?" nagpipigil ako ng tawa dahil hindi ko talaga minsan magets trip ng lalaking 'to. Eh kasi naman, madalas kapag nagsusuot ng fake nails, may color or design diba? These are transparent.
