Blissful Ballad

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐰𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐲-𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫

After yet another, long explanation Jim agrees to go "Is there anything I need to do? Do I need to prep?" he asks as he follows both Crowley and Aziraphale out of his office walking past the office lady. "Hey where are you goin-" as they walk past Crowley snaps his fingers and the woman suddenly goes back to work like she saw nothing. Hopping into the Bentley Jim stares at the pair rethinking his decision as they head back to the book shop where the others are waiting. 

Dropping him off they set forth to find their next apostle, understanding. Stopping by a cafe for a spot of lunch the pair sit outside a bit away from all the people to talk. "This is all so tiring.." says Aziraphale with a heavy sigh slouching a bit in his chair a bit "Well we've only got 2 days left.. we can't sit and have a chat for too lon-" he suddenly goes quiet. Knowing whats happening Aziraphale watches his eyes in awe seeing his pupils dilate and contract hearing him say "Were heading to the Zoo" confused he laughs a bit "You can't be serious" he says taking a sip of his tea seeing him stare "Really?" he nods. Getting up the pair leave some money on the table heading off to the Zoo where their next apostle is waiting. 

Getting admission, the pair head inside looking around at all the animals, Aziraphale getting distracted in awe stopping to gaze at each animal. "Aziraphale we don't have any time for this common" Crowley says a bit harsh. Looking at him as he walks past him going more into the Zoo Aziraphale sighs following quick behind. Stopping for a moment Aziraphale turns quickly grabbing his arm pulling him along towards the reptile exhibit.

Meanwhile inside, Zack Mitt or 'Dr. Doolittle' as they call him around the park is checking in on all the snakes for the day. With a small python slithering across his shoulders he cleans out the cage humming a tune as the pair walk in. "Can I help you two?" he asks in a kind tone as he continues to work. As  Aziraphale starts to explain Crowley looks at one of the snakes staring directly at him, feeling uneasy he looks away leaning in close whispering "Hurry up, they know" Aziraphale looks over at him with a bit of side eye. "Who?" he whispers back looking over at a few of the snake exhibits with all the snakes as close as they can be towards Crowley making him laugh a bit. 

Turning his attention back to Zack Aziraphale smiles "Hello" he says in his usual sweet tone "We have a very special request for you and although it is a request you don't really have much of a choice" seeing his eyes widen Aziraphale swallows hard, nervous at what he might say. Putting the snake back into its newly cleaned enclosure Zack nods with a sigh, putting his hands on his hips "Alright, what's the job" he says looking at the pair. Explaining a bit Aziraphale sees him nodding "Alright, let's go seems reasonable" surprised at how willing he is Aziraphale stutters a bit "Y-Yes let's hurry along then" rushing out quickly before Zack and him Crowley groans a bit feeling uneasy "Finally!!" he shouts a bit being dramatic.
