Farewell To This

Goodbye's seems too much
But I guess I should say it
To lift this heavy feeling inside

Should I write a letter?
Will they read it?

Oh look, they seem happy
without me in it

Will they miss me?
Will they wonder?
How I'm doing?
How I'm adjusting?

A few months left
A few more holidays
A few more gatherings
And a few more laughters

'Please answer my message when I chat okay?'
'Okay'

One more outing with her
One more shenanigans
One more poem before I leave

I'll leave a letter
Not for them but for her
Hopefully she'll read it

Hope she knows I'll miss her terribly

Goodbye, I guess
I'll be going now
Hope they'll keep safe
And I'll keep myself safe too
