The night was normal, Mom and mom ate spring rolls for dinner and I went to bed. I woke up early the next morning and poured myself orange juice.
I was already dressed, I was dressed casual but still nice, I was wearing a plain black T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
I was looking out the window and saw Achilles run up to my house. He knocked on the door once and I immediately opened it.
Once I saw him I suddenly felt overdressed, He was wearing his hair tied into a ponytail, he had a red tank top on, and was wearing baggy sweatpants.
“Hey You; Come on we have an extremely long day ahead of us” Achilles joked and I followed him, I immediately texted mom I was heading out as me and Achilles held hands as we walked together
I never knew I lived near so many places. We passed by a rolling rank, an Ice cream shop, a poetry shop, and a movie Theater.
Since I move around all the time and never at one place very long I guess it never occurred to me to ever explore, usually I find the nearest park and find the best spot for me to read, write, or just to get out of the house.
“Alright we're here” Achilles said getting my attention and we stopped in front of a small building that was painted purple and had music notes around it
We walked in and the building was so cold, We walked into another room and I saw Chiron at a whiteboard and desks lined up.
“Where the first ones here” I thought as we walked to the desk
“Patroclus” Chiron said as he turned to me
“Nice surprise but why are you here?” He asked me confused
“Um…” I stuttered and looked at Achilles who was as confident as ever
“I invited him, I want him to be part of the band with us and join student council” He answered calmly
I looked up at him with shocked, I then turned to Chiron who seemed more confused
“Oh well you can ask the others when they get here, but why him?” Chiron asked
“I like him” Achilles simply said that made my face feel hot
“Oh well the others should be here soon for you to talk about it in the meantime you guys get settled” Chiron said and walked out of the room
Achilles sat in a desk I sat down next to Achilles
“I don’t have an instrument” I reminded him
“Chiron has a piano and luckily for you no one plays it” He told me with a smile on his face
I smiled too but jumped when I heard the door behind us open, I turned to see Briseis walk in holding an instrument and looking at me confused.
“What is he doing here?” She asked Achilles and placed her instrument pays on top of a desk
She looked more professional, She was wearing a forest green dress that was shapeless and passed her knees, She had a gold belt around her way to give the illusion of a figure, and her natural hair laid completely down with a gold headband.
“I invited him; I want to him to join our band and our student council” Achilles answered and shot me a smile
“Excuse me? You can’t just do that, We have to make a list of possible candidates and then we have to do a group vote” Briseis reminded him and and crossed her arms
“Well have a group vote now, I say yes” Achilles told her which made her face go sour
She opened her mouth but then the door opened again and Iphigenia came inside skipping her pink short skirt swaying around and she had a cute white lace blouse to match, Her hair was completely down and it moved with her.
“Hey” She giggled and sat her instrument down and smiled at me
“Oh new guy; Hey again” Iphigenia greeted me sweetly
“I want him in the band and on the student council, What's your vote?” Achilles asked her
“Yes, Anyone better than Peter” She joked gagging as she said the name Peter then laugh again
“That’s not how we're supposed to do things, We have rules for stuff like this ” Briseis said again and the door opened yet again
Another girl walked in and she looked familiar, I know I’ve met her but couldn’t remember her name.
She walked in wearing a yellow sun dress with pink flowers on them, She had sandals on that showed her manicured toes and fingers, and her hair was curly and bounced as she walked
She was pretty and she knew it
“Hey” She purred and hugged Achilles’s arm tightly
“Missed me?” She asked and pushed herself closer to him
I looked to see Iphigenia's reaction but she seemed unfazed like this happens all the time.
“Sure, You remember Patroclus, right Deidameia?” He asked her and she glanced at me uninterested
“Yeah” She said plainly and looked back to him
“Well I want to be part of student council and to join the band but I need your vote” He asked her
“What did you say?” She asked him while fluttering her eyes
“Yes” He said slightly annoyed and moved her arm away from her
“Then yes” She answered
“Awesome we got the majority vote, Your in” He told me with a grin
Briseis opened her mouth but immediately closed it
“I don’t care” She sighed and sat down and placed her head on the desk
Chiron walked back in and we all sat down, Me and Achilles sat next to each other, Briseis was next to Achilles, Deidameia was behind Achilles, and Iphigenia was behind me.
"Oh good your all here" Chiron smile at us
"Yep and we all agreed that Patroclus can join us" Achilles announced and rubbed my had
"Well we're gonna have to do some paperwork later but let's forget that for right now" Chiron said and walked passed is
“Okay let’s began” Chiron started and started writing on the whiteboard
