Irene is 20 Lisa is 18
"Happy birthday, Hyun." Lisa greeted as she held the cake in front of Irene who closed her eyes before blowing the candle to make a wish.
How Lisa was able to enter her room at midnight, she doesn't know but it isn't important.
When Irene opened her eyes, she's welcomed by Lisa's smiling face. If possible, she'll stay in this moment— just her and Lisa, forever.
"What did you wish for?" Lisa asked.
"F-for you to kiss me." Irene whispered.
Lisa put the cake on Irene's bedside table before leaning in. Irene closed her eyes the same time Lisa reached out for her face.
Their lips met again for the first time in a year.
Even if it's just a peck, for Irene, there's no better gift that she wanted to receive.
