Fresh Meat and Dressing

"Back to our rooms to get our hero suits." Mirio happily said. While skipping up the stairs with me dragging behind.

"Ooh! We get to wear those here?" I happily asked.

"Yep, you remembered to bring yours right?" He asked.

"Yeah, of course. I've been pretty excited to wear mine in public." I nodded.

As we got to our doors we agreed to meet eachother at the stairs.

I rummaged through my clothes until I found my hero suit, which was hidden at the bottom.

I admired the silk and rubbed the soft material.

Well, time to put it on and wear it out in public.

I'm pretty excited.

I rushed to the bathroom with it and styled my hair.

After getting it on and everything, and adding the heels I got with the costume, I felt really confident in my appearance.

I strut out of the bathroom and looked at the tall mirror that rested on my door.

I started posing and having fun looking at the way my costume fell with each movement.

I sighed happily, and decided to go out and meet Mirio now.

I grabbed my wallet, pulled my door card from the counter and exited.

As I shoved everything back into the wallet and down the pocket I had in my dress, I heard a small gasp.

Across the hall was Mirio waiting at the stairs and a girl who was walking up, who was stopped in her tracks.

"What?" Mirio asked the girl curiously. "Are you alright?"

"Who is that girl?" She whispered to him, pointing to me, her mouth wide open.

Mirio turned and his face flushed slightly.

"She's so pretty, oh my god." The girl said, getting jittery and running back downstairs.

I walked over with a weird look on my face.

"Hey Mirio, ready to go? And who was that girl?" I asked.

"Yeah, and you look, great. Andd, that was Charice, she works in the computer lab here." Mirio put a palm to his face.

"She's gets nervous around women she finds pretty." He continued.

"Oh, that's cute." I smiled, thinking about the girl.

"Anyways, ready to go?" Mirio asked, his face was a light shade of pink but his smile was bright.

"Yeah, les gooooo!" I yelled, hopping down the stairs.

He laughed and ran down after me before disappearing and going through the stair case.

My mouth dropped, must've been his quirk.

I heaved out my wings and flew down the stair case.

"Boo!" Something from beside me yelled.

I screeched and turned to see Mirio, but his head was in a wall.

I arched an eyebrow.

"What's your quirk?" I asked, bending down and leveling with where his face was.

I saw his face flush a bit again but instead he got right back in my face and replied, "It's better explained physically." He said.

Was he flirting?

I laughed and stepped back.

"Alright, alright. You'll have to show me sometime. But now I'm pretty hungry so let's go raid restaurants!" I dashed off down the hall to the exit of the agency.

Mirio jumped from the wall beside me and popped out of the agency first.

We ended up walking around and found a nice restaurant, things had gone amazing by the time we got back to HQ.

I really liked it here at Night Eye agency so far, but today was supposed to be easy, on other patrols I'd be bound to bounce into some trouble and I wondered what it would be like.

But I'm still excited nonetheless. And I'm really excited to be doing it along side Night Eye and Mirio.

I wonder what my dad would say if he saw me now.
