Mae's POV:

„Again!" Grayson called over. He kept repeating the same word and I kept throwing the same knives. Over and over again. My arm was sore and his voice was pissing me off more and more every time he repeated himself. It was only a matter of time till I cracked.

„Again!" he called over for what felt like the 100th time.

„What do you mean again?! We've been here for hours! I can't keep throwing. When the fuck are you going to do shit?" I yell and he looks at me with a raised eyebrow.

„When you hit the target one more time." he tells me. I throw a knife in his direction aiming for around an inch next to his right ear. It lands perfectly and I stomp over to him. Pulling the knife from the wall.

„Shut up. Before I actually aim for your ear and not just an inch away." I spat at him, he just stared down at me.

„You think I'm scared of you? Really?" he questioned. He acted as if he wasn't, but I knew he was. He knew, that I would do it, if I felt the need to. He was terrified of me and there was no way he would admit it.

„I know you're scared, terrified actually. So leave me alone." I turn and walk away. Entering the girls changing room and sitting down on the bench. I sigh, as I breath in and out. I was exhausted and I knew I couldn't do anymore training, so I just got up and left. I could just change in the hotel.

Grayson's POV:

"I know you're scared, terrified actually. So leave me alone." Mae spat and she turned and walked away. I watched as she entered the changing rooms.

She knew I was scared of her. When she threw that knife my heart stopped for a minute. I should've caught it. I could've caught it, but I didn't. I had pushed her over the edge and I knew it. If she had aimed the knife at my chest, then it should've hit me. I deserved it honestly.

I quickly get up and grab my bag. I sprint out of the training hall and back to the hotel. Through the halls and up type stairs. I couldn't be bothered to wait for the lift. I take out my plastic card for the room and unlock the door. I carefully open the door, making sure to not accidentally see Mae changing. However she's just laying on her bed in a new set of clothes.

She still seems extremely upset. I need to say sorry, but every time I do, I just admit I'm wrong. It's ridiculous and it just makes me feel like I'm feeding her self esteem.

I place my bag down and look over to her, not sure what to say.

"You just gonna keep staring you creep?" she asks and I snap out of my trance.

"No, sorry." I apologise and look out the window. What the hell do I say.

"What's wrong?" she stares at me, placing her phone on her stomach.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have pushed you over the edge. I knew you were annoyed and I knew you were going to crack. I should've let you stop and not kept telling you to do it again. I just wanted to lightly annoy you, you know in a joking way. However it seems that I went too far." I tell her and she just stared at me for another moment.

"Thank you. I forgive you. However if you do it again. I will aim for you." she tells me and I chuckle.

"I believe that."
