Chapter 40

Luke's POV.

Nandito na kami sa manila. One week narin naman ang nakalipas ng umuwi kami galing ilocos. And guess what diana won the 3rd round I'm happy for her tho.

But I'm kinda sad. Sophie keep ignoring me when I tried calling her or even chatting. She still haven't forgiven me yet I miss her na pero ayaw nya ako kausapin. Everytime naman na tatawag ako kina lola Sophie's faking her sleep.

Now we're just getting ready for the next round. So its a 2 : 1 na if diana won the next round then she'll win the whole competition na.

I went to the company na when I bumped with Samantha and lauren. And yes they're teammates din sa competition.

"Hi luke how's your vacation with your sister?" Samantha.

"Umm fine naman why'd you asked?"

"Ah wala. Mabuti pa sila diana sinama mo bakit ako hindi"

"Ahhh sila naman gumastos eh. Saka hindi ko naman sila pinilit sumama"

"Dapat sinama mo ako para man lang nakita ko si sophie"

"Samantha you know naman na my sister is still mad at you"

"Huh eh ang tagal na non eh. And besides wala na kami ni james he cheated on me kaya wala na sya dapat ika galit"

"Ahh I'm sorry I have to go. Diana's wait for me na"

"Huh? puro ka nalang diana diana why don't you stay muna"

"Sorry but I have to go. Maybe in other times nalang"

I said and left them. Samantha kept flirting with me since the day we got back in manila. I don't know why she's doing this pero I don't feel anything for her na. And I already confessed to diana so there's no turning back.

Pero wala parin sagot si diana sakin. I guess she doesn't feel anything for me fvck I miss her kisses tho. Sabagay a girl like her wouldn't fall in love with a guy like me. I know naman na I can't give her the life that she grew up in pero magsisikap naman ako eh.

I went to her office and brought her lunch. Since that day na something almost happened to us sa resort she doesn't pay attention to me na. She ignored me kaya lumabas na ako at pumunta sa desk ko.

Diana's POV.

Luke brought me lunch dito sa office ko. Aaminin ko kinilig ako dun kahit na hindi naman ako nag utos na dalhin nya ako ng pagkain dito. Pero honestly hindi ko parin sya pinapansin magmula ng nangyari sa resort.

I like him but I can't confess it to him. Kahit na he confessed to me na nahihiya ako sa totoo lang. I don't know na he can be that wild haha.

I'll try to ignore him muna. And if he's really determined to court me, then he'll do everything to get my attention. Ayaw ko nang umasa na naman sa maling tao kung gusto talaga ako ni luke he'll be patient with me.

Bumalik na ako sa work ko. Andaming tambak jusq but worth it naman yung vaca namin. I had fun kahit na for a little moment lang.

Pumasok naman si sheila sa office ko.

"Hey diana won't you eat lunch? Tara sabay kana samin" sabi ni sheila.

"Yeah sige tapusin ko lang to. Tapos pupunta nako don"

Papunta na ako sa cafeteria kung nasaan sila. Umupo ako sa tabi nila sheila at mica. Si luke naman sa harapan ko umupo.

We ate lunch lang. And after that I saw luke outside he's on his phone.

I went to my office na since marami pa akong gagawin. Next week na yung 4th round and if I win that then I'll be the winner na. Mabuti nalang talaga magagaling ang team ko.

At si luke lumelevel up narin haha. Diba i posted our fashion Campaign sa Instagram ko. Si luke yung Model dun tinag ko sya yan tuloy instant famous ang kuya nyo haha.

I checked his insta last night and he already have 200k follower actually nauna pang ma sold out yung mens clothes eh kesa sa female. Thankful naman ako dun kasi sold out lahat ng stock namin. They liked the fashion Campaign din a lot of people reacted it.

We're just waiting for the next round.
I have high hopes I'll win again haha.

One week later Samantha won. What how can this be? tied nanaman kami if I lose the other I'll surely lose my position.

Pumasok ako sa meeting room namin.

"How can we lose? eh ang dali lang ng 4th round"

"Sorry diana but I loss the files" sisi ni mica.

"How can you lose them? those are important. Mica naman next time kasi wag puro landi. If its time for work, work asikasuhin nyo"

"I'm sorry diana it won't happen again" sabi ni mica habang umiiyak.

I didn't intend to make her cry pero I'm mad talaga. I felt bad for how I treated her I know she's doing all she can.

"I-I'm sorry too. I loss control of my temper" tumango naman si mica.

Fvck why I'm I doing this to my friends? Mica is really nice to me and I'm doing this to her? I know naman na she's didn't meant na mawala yung mga file.

I went out. And went to the cafeteria I ordered a Frappe and a Cupcake for her. She's my friend now I need to say sorry somehow.

I went inside the meeting room and she's still crying. And it's because of me.

"Hey mics Don't cry na. I'm sorry if I shouted on you" sabi ko sabay abot ng frappe sakanya.

"Here oh this is for you. Im sorry na, you're more important than that stupid competition, please friends parin?"

At yumakap si mica sakin. I'm sorry mics I didn't mean to shout at you like that.

"I'm sorry too diana. I hope we'll still be friends"

I caressed her back "Of course we'll always be friends"

Pero I'm still sad parin talaga na I lose. So its a tie na.

Maaga akong nag leave ngayon. Since na iinis ako pag nikikita ko si Samantha. Sarap nyang tirisin.

Luke followed me pero hindi ko sya pinansin. Wait ok na ba sila ng kapatid nya? nakwento ni Mark sakin na hindi sya pinapansin si sophie. Kawawa naman ang kuya nyo.
