Even though I am not a serial rom com watcher I could never miss out on a queer love story. It's a classic high school love story with a love triangle except all the three people are girls which is a fresh take even in sapphic movies where the main character had to usually choose between a boy and a girl.
It's sweet, it is cringe, sometimes angsty and ready to be the new comfort sapphic film for us gays. The chemistry between the love interests were great and even though a lot of cliche tropes are used, it's gay, so 100 times better than the usual.
I mean sure the mom was a lil bit over sharer and boundary crossing because talking about sex toys with your teenage daughter doesn't really make you a "cool mom" but I can easily overlook that as other that she was always very supportive of Paige. Also the token straights continuously being horny and making out the minute they see each other was a bit over the top, I don't know if that was supposed to be satire or not but I was cringing every time they did that on the screen.
So yes it might not be the best sapphic film you will ever watch but it's definitely worth a watch.
