For once.

He was smiling.

"You know this song?" He questioned.

"Of course! It is my favorite from AJR!" I said as I increased the volume.

"Mine too!" he said as his smile was now a full-blown grin.

Just then, the chorus started to play and I started to sing it.

'I've been so good, I've been helpful and friendly
I've been so good, why am I feeling empty?
I've been so good, I've been so good this year
I've been so good, but it's still getting harder
I've been so good, where the hell is the karma?
I've been so good, I've been so good this year '

I continued singing the song with Samuel who was also singing with me.

After the song finished, Samuel applauded me and said that my singing was so good and angelic. Of course, I blushed at the comment cause it is not every day I get one.

I think he is lying to make me feel better. They always do.

This song relates to my life. I have done nothing wrong yet I got all the pain.

Maybe I just deserved it.

After ten more minutes, we reached our destination.

A boat thing.

We hoped in one and the person started driving. I nearly gasped when I saw the monument in front t of me.

It was the Statue Of Liberty.

I squealed and hugged Samuel tightly because I always wanted to see it.

He froze for a minute before slowly hugging me back just as tight. He then kissed the crown of my head and let me go. I pouted cause I lost the warmth that he gave me, he just chuckled and shook his head.

We went to the cafe nearby after coming back to land and started talking about each other.

It turns, out we pretty much have the same likes and dislikes.

We both love blue.

We both have the same taste for music and movies.

We both have similar hobbies and the list keeps going on.

We came home at 10 pm. As soon as that, I dosed off not before taking some sleeping pills.

***

I woke up at seven and wore a simple white T-shirt and ripped jeans. I made a French braid and went downstairs and waited for Alessandro.

Ten minutes later, he came down wearing a black shirt and black jeans. We then went in a car and went to the destination.

"Where are we going,"

"For god's sake Ari. Be patient! This is the tenth time," Alessandro said. I shut my mouth.

But after 5 minutes...

"Are we there yet?

Well, that blew my brother up.

He glared daggers at me. "You are lucky that I am driving right now Ari."

He huffed then continued ridding.

Ugh.

In 15 minutes, we finally reached and I jumped out of the car and looked around the place to see a building.

It wasn't just any building.

It was a car show.

I smiled softly at Alessandro before dragging him inside.
