5 years later.

"Mom! Happy birthday!" I greeted Mom a happy birthday.

It's been 5 years since i lost my baby, here i am still mourning every month. Pero kaya ko na ngayon, limang taon na din ang nakaraan simula noong huling pagkikita namin ni Isacc.

Siguro ibang buhay meroon ako ngayon kung hindi lang nawala ang anak ko, siguro nga ayon ay malaki na siya.

Mom smiled at me and hugged me tight, "akala ko ay hindi ka darating." Nakangiting ani mommy

Sa loob ng limang taon ay maraming nangyari, i live in my dads farm for almost a year. Masaya doon at marami akong nagagawa, i even write a lot of story pero lahat sila unpublished. At sa limang taon na nakalipas ay nagkaayos na sila mommy and daddy, my two siblings sometimes visit me in the farm. I even met my dads wife and she's very nice. While mom? Was very successful, mas pinalago niya ang companya namin, without my help. And she's looking young at mukha lang dalaga.

She let me rest for almost five years and now I'm back, for good.

"I promised that uuwi ako diba here i am." Nakangiting sagot ko.

"I miss you anak, it's been a year." Ani mama at ngumiti naman ako.

Nagkaroon ng maliit na salo salo sa kaaarawan ni mommy, dad was also there to attend mom's birthday because I told him to come over, so he did. After that ay agad naman silang umuwi. Gabi na at naguusap na kami ni mommy dito sa terrace habang umiinom ng wine.

"How's your life in the farm Aubriella?" Mom ask, i smiled.

"It's good there, i became a good farmer." Nakangiting giit ko.

"Why don't you start to write a story again, i should make a publishing company for you?" Nakangiting tanong ni mommy, napa tingin naman ako sa kanya.

"Mom! You will really do that?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Of course i will! if you still pursue your writing skills."

"Ahm well, i still write story but i did not publish it to the public." Tumatango tangong giit ko then i took a sip of a wine.

"Published it, i know your dad will also agree with me to build a publishing company for you."

"You're doing a lot of effort." Giit ko, "I'll think about it, about your offer Ms. Gabriella Fontanilla." Nakangising dagdag ko pa. "Anyways i already found a great condo to stay." Pagiiba ko ng topic.

"You're not staying here? talagang iiwan mo na ako? remember you've rest 5 years enough, you should stay here anak." nakapuot na tila bata si mommy habang sinasabi yun. Mommy really changed a lot, after 5 years being apart from her, naging mas close kaming dalawa sa isa't isa.

I hug her again, "hmm hugging you feels better mom, it's been a year since the last time i hugged you." i said while closing my eyes.

Hugging your mom feels different, it's not just a hug but it feels like home. Finally im home, anak i will visit and talk to you.

"I'll stay here until tonight, i will visit you more often mom." Sabi ko bago bumitaw sa pagkakayakap sa kanya.

"Make sure to do that, I'll be mad kapag hindi mo ako pupuntahan dito i make sure to close the deal hahahaha." And she even joke, so i also laughed.

It's been a year ha, it feels good to laugh.

"Ahm mom, Harold invited me to come over sa ribbon cutting ng kanyang cafe shop tomorrow, did he invited you too? to come over?" I ask mom.
