"Hurry, Goldeye! Hurry!"
Goldeye sat in his nest, shaking his head. He spaced out for a while and came back to his senses. "Okay. Seriously. Who is that?" He questioned. Goldeye swiped his paw over his head. His ear twitched.
He padded out of his den. Goldeye seeing Silverlegs, Coal, and Iceglow running around the camp like prey running from its hunter.
"I wonder if there's going to be anymore cats out there?" The golden-furred tom asked himself.
Spiderspring padded up to Goldeye with a worried look on his face. Goldeye stared at the tom and gave him a smile. "Hey, Spiderspring."
"Where's Leafmist?"
Goldeye didn't respond for a few heartbeats. The question surprised him. "I don't know. She might be in her den."
"Okay." He turned around and padded off.
"Wait!" Goldeye ran in front of him.
"What?"
"Have you seen anymore cats recently?"
"No."
Spiderspring sighed and headed to the Medicine Den.
He's acted weird. I wonder if he and Leafmist have something going on? Goldeye shook his head. Whatever... That's not my problem right now. We need to figure out why we're here. The tom sat down and pondered his thoughts as he watched Silverlegs run away from Coal and Iceglow.

"I never wanted you three. I hope you all die."
A calico she-cat with yellow eyes dropped three kits one by one into a lake and let them float off. They mewed out of fear as they barely clung onto their lives. She turned her back on the lake and padded off.
It seemed as if forever passed before she left those kits to die. She sighed and shook her head. They aren't mine. Starclan can take care of them. She looked around to see trees.
Heartbeats passed before she caught the scent of other cats. She turned her head in that direction as her ears perked up. "I didn't think there were others out here. Maybe they know where I am."
A smile crept across her face as she ran toward the scents.

"Oh, Redtooth... You're so wonderful!"
"I think you're better. Honestly, I couldn't do any medicine cat stuff."
Redtooth and Leafmist were with each other outside of the territory. Leafmist giggled and smiled as she licked Redtooth's cheek. "I could teach you one day."
Redtooth chuckled and looked away. "I'm good. I'll stick with warrior tasks."
The medicine cat purred and nuzzled Redtooth. "I love you so much."
"I love you more."
They nuzzled each other happily. Redtooth felt good having a cat closer to him during these hard times in the forest. Leafmist's smile got wider before they talked with each other more.

Spiderspring stared out the territories' entrance. Where did she go? He scanned the entrance and kept his eyes peeled for any sight of the medicine cat.
Something bumped into Spiderspring.
"Oops. Apologies. I wasn't looking where I was going."
Spiderspring looked down to see a stocky tom with black fur and gray stripes. He had dull-gray eyes. "Are you blind?" Spiderspring growled.
"Yes."
"What?"
"I want you to look me in my eyes."
The toms stared at each other for a few heartbeats. The tom smirked. "Are you looking me in my eyes? I can't tell."
"You're annoying," the brown-furred tom growled again.
"I'm not annoying. I'm blind."
Spiderspring opened his maw to reply, but he saw another cat coming up to them. He hoped it was Leafmist, but it was a calico she-cat who came to them. "Hello?"
The tom turned his head to the she-cat. "Hello."
"Do you two know where I am?"
"I'd like to know myself." The tom looked at Spiderspring.
It annoyed Spiderspring that the she-cat wasn't Leafmist. "Do you two only remember your names?"
"Now that I think of it," the tom started, "that is all I can remember. My name is Swiftgaze."
"I'm Splashflower. I remember nothing besides my name, either." The calico she-cat meowed.
"I'll have to take you two to Goldeye." Spiderspring sighed and shook his head. He wanted to stay and wait to see if Leafmist showed up, but he knew he had to do his duty. The tom turned around and saw Goldeye.
"Come with me," he padded over to Goldeye.
Splashflower easily followed. Swiftgaze's ears twitched before he followed them. He carefully listened for pawsteps. Goldeye turned around and looked at them.
"Two new cats?"
"Yes. Swiftgaze and Splashflower. Swiftgaze is blind, though." Spiderspring informed the leader.
Splashflower stared at Goldeye. "Hey."
Swiftgaze said nothing. His tail swayed as he stared at the sky.
"Well, I'm Goldeye, and this is Spiderspring! You two can meet the other cats in the territory! And, uh, Swiftgaze... Are you able to do warrior duties?" Goldeye meowed.
The calico she-cat nodded.
Swiftgaze moved his head to Goldeye. "Usually. Just because I'm blind doesn't mean I can't hunt and defend myself. I'll take on Spiderspring here right now."
"You wouldn't last-" Spiderspring stopped himself as he caught Leafmist's scent in his nose. He turned to the territory's entrance and ran over to it.
Swiftgaze smirked. "He fears me."
Spiderspring padded up to Leafmist. Redtooth stood next to her with herbs in his maw. The medicine cat had herbs in her maw as well. "Where have you been?"
She set the herbs down and sighed. "I found a lot of herbs and I got Redtooth to help me. I'm fine, Spiderspring." Leafmist picked up the herbs and headed to the Medicine Den.
Redtooth said nothing to him and followed her. Spiderspring kept his gaze on the two cats as they went into the den. He saw Redtooth come out a few heartbeats after. He growled to himself before heading over to the medicine den. Goldeye tried to get his attention, but it didn't work. The brown-furred tom stormed inside.
That foolish tom better not try anything.
