The Exam Period

Hirata introduced me to horikita and ayanokoji we exchanged greetings and move towards the topic on hand.

I suggested we go together to the cafeteria and talk this over there.

We moved on towards the cafe acquired a seat on the third row and started the discussion.

There was a awkward silence for a while so I decided to break the Ice.

"So what are we gonna do about the upcoming exams?"

Horikita then finally talked

"I am currently thinking about starting a study group for the students who are at the risk of attaining a fail mark."

I asked

"How are we going to convince them? From the looks of what I saw in the classroom I don't think they are the type of student to cooperate"

Horikita replied looking towards ayanokoji

"Oh bout that this guy right here is gonna handle that"

Ayanokoji looked confused and asked

"When did I say I was going to convince them?"

Horikita said

"You have no other choice you ate that premium meal right?"

"But you said that was a treat from you"

"Yeah I treated you so that you can do this so now stop complaining and do ur best"

Aynokoji looked betrayed

I interfered between their conversation and told

"I will also come with you to convince them"

Horikita looked at me for a while and then said

"Fine by me as long as you can bring results"

After telling that she left the cafe leaving me and ayanokoji alone

We left the cafe to convince them and got flatly rejected

We sat on a bench near the wending machine

Then an unexpected person pops up

This person was kushida the most popular girl of our class although she looks nice I already know by reading the novel what her actual behavior is

She approached us and asked

"Um.. Ayanokoji kun? And... Yoshida kun?
What are you two doing here?"

We told her about the situation we were given

She smiled and said

"Horikita San can be pretty harsh sometimes right? I can help you two convince them but you have to do me a favor and help me become friends with horikita san"

We glanced at each other and agreed

And surprisingly all of them who flatly declined us agreed quickly on the saying of kushida i guess this is the power of a girl

The students who needed much help included Sudo, yamauchi and ike

We started our session at the library

Everything was going smooth until sudo kicked the chair and grabbed horikita's collar.

"What the hell is up with ur attitude"

"I am just stating the truth the level of your study is even worse than that of a middle schooler"

I interfered and spilt them up

Sudo released his hand from her collar and left angrily ike and yamauchi also followed after him and we were left alone

Horikita also began to leave as kushida stopped her

"That was harsh horikita san you shouldn't have said that to them. Let's go and talk to them"

"I didn't say anything false that was the truth and I don't remember inviting you to this session"

kushida looked at us asking for support so I interfered

"We took her help on convincing them in exchange for her to join the session"

She glared at me and then turned to kushida and said

"Is that so then I as the group leader request you to not come in this session"

Then she proceeded to leave

Kushida stopped her and said

"Horikita San I just want to become friends with you"

Horkita without any hesitation flatly declined her and left the library

I apologized to her and left the library with ayanokoji

As it was getting pretty late we parted ways

As I got in my bed I started thinking

(4 days left for exam huh? well I already know that ayanokoji can take this situation but I somehow want to help let's help ayanokoji in the best way possible )

I resolved myself and went to sleep

Next day I went to visit sudo

"Hey sudo"

I waved my hand as I approached him

"Hey.. Uh what was your name again?"

"I am kai yoshida you can call me yoshida"

"So what your business?"

"Look I won't ask you to come back to the study session but u know a failing grade can get you expelled you want to make a career in basketball right? But without graduating it won't be easy. So instead of joining the session how bout you study from the notes I give you I have written it in a way its pretty easy to understand"

He thought for a while then looked at me and said

"OK deal but if I don't understand anything I will come to beat the crap out of you"

I nodded and gave him the notes and we parted ways

For the next three day he quietly took the notes

And the day before the exam

Kushida distributed us the copies of previous year question paper and told us to revise the question pattern well

Everyone seemed happy

The day of exam finally arrived we started our papers as sensei signalled us to do

The questions were obviously very easy for me I attempted most of the questions and left some on purpose to not become a center of attraction.

I attempted 80-85 marks in all of the subjects

And gradually the exam ended

And the date of result also came

In the novel sudo fails in English and was bout to get expelled but gets saved by ayanokoji and horikita by a 100000 points I hoped that after all the hard word sudo didn't failed

The bell rang and sensei enters the class

She stood at the podium and said

"Although I expected to see a lot of expulsions but it seems like you all successfully managed to pass through it without getting anyone expelled"

she then posted our marks on a paper in the blackboard.

I got 85 in all subjects except english it was 84 I was relieved to see sudo's marks were above the failing marks

Everyone took a breath of relief and we survived this exam
