"Then why didn't you say it earlier, I almost told you how I felt," Lizzie whispers the sad truth. I couldn't let Lizzie tell me how she felt because that would make the betrayal hurt even more. If she had told me she loved me then that would have destroyed me because I knew I would have gone against my family instead.
