Chapter 52

AMRITA POV
It's almost to 11pm and yah Ammar isn't back home yet, is he stuck somewhere? Is he in trouble? Millions of thoughts going round my head while  I dialled his digits for the 10th time  . I turned as I heard the sound of his ringtone
"Ya Allah you scared me yah Ammar" I pout
"Sorry angel I didn't mean to scare you" he hugged me

"Where were you ? I've been trying your number it wasn't going" I stared at him
"Stuck up in work I'm sorry but I'm here now darling" he pecked my cheeks and I blushed at his actions
"Okay come and have your food it's your favourite Tuwon semovita and okra soup" I smiled
"Wow you know it's been long since I had this" he said while taking a seat at the diner

"I know you don't normally take heavy food at night but I made this with a lot of love" I smiled shyly
"Oh wow I must definitely taste this food" he rubbed his hands before dipping it into a bowl containing water

He washed his hand and began to dig into his food while I stare at him waiting for a compliment
"Hmm" he moaned and he continued to eat ignoring my stares .
"What how was it?" I asked eagerly
"Ummm I would say...." He stop and stare at me
"I'm nervous yah ammar say something please" I pout
"It's amazing sweetheart" he smirked and I smiled
"You almost gave me a heart attack" I glared
While he laughed and he continues eating his meal.

"I'm feeling sleepy yah ammar switch off the light please" I said while arranging the bed sheets
"Wait you ain't going to bed without me darling"he pick me up and throw me softly on the bed and I laughed  at his action
"Now it's bed time" he said pulling me close to him
"Good night" I whispered before my eyes started to give up and I could hear him whispering some Duas on me.

AMMAR POV
The least I could do is to make her happy for the rest of the day before I began the whole plan .
Ya Allah please guide me , I pray Amrita would understand everything at the end of the day

I got back home to be welcomed by my beautiful wife and on top of everything she made my favourite and how could I say no to that pretty face .
I must say my wife is really a good chef , her skills are extremely impressive.
I tuck my angel to bed , giving her a kiss on the forehead, eyes , cheeks and lastly on her lips
"Please forgive me Amrita , for I'm going to hurt you so much , believe me it wasn't in my will to do so but I pray you won't hate me that much Amrita" I whispered before pulling her more closer to me and I drift into sleep with so many thoughts in my head.

YAMALTU VILLAGE
Malam Bello was sitting on his mat as always performing zikr , all as to get to see his daughter even if it's for the last time . All he hope for is her well being and safety. When ever he recall the past events , he shed tears of regret everyday.

"Kai Kai Kai (hey hey hey)" inna yelled at him
"Wai meye haka lantana yanxu rashin mutuncin ki yakai ki dinga Kira na da kai kamar ba mijin ki ba , haba lantana wallahi ki tuba ki gyara halin ki.
(what's all these lantana?now it reached to a point that you don't address me in respect as if I'm not your husband . Lantana you have to amend your behaviours for the betterment of your life)" he preaches

"Toh mijina ai bansan ka samu matsayin liman Ba toh wainnan maganganun ka bazasuyi tasiri a kaina Ba kaga malam kudi zaka ban zanje wujen hajjo dillaliya ehe ( husband my foot , I didn't know you were promoted to be the new imam of this town , don't even stress yourself cause all these your preaches are useless to me , look here I want money cause I want to meet Hajjo)". Lantana glared at him

"Allah ya shirye ki lantana wallahi ki guje rudin duniya, duniya makaranta ce wallahi, kuma ni kisan bani da ko sisi balle na baki ( May Allah help you in your life lantana, this world you see is materialistic which you should avoid it at all cost , and you know I don't have any penny on me)" he said
