// Hello, hello, hello if you don't know me---little do, or maybe some people do and are silent readers--- I am Legend someone who loves writing fantasy stories with a bit of twists, magic, and a dab of romance.

I absolutely love mermaids and as much as I love them I love Hans Christian Andersen's Little Mermaid who basically started my obsession with writing stories relating to them.

Long story short, two years ago during the pandemic I was bored out of my mind and wanted to write a story so I wanted to adapt the little mermaid, but within that it was barely loosely based off it.  For the mermaid in that could talk and go back to a mermaid whenever water touches her skin.  I added my own lore, a majorly different plot, and twists.  The only thing that was the same was that a mermaid rescues a prince from the sea after sinking the ship.

I even made sequels and sequels in writing, and now I had another idea that is a total stand alone not related to those stories at all.

This is the story of the Mermaid's best friend, Alehkzir a sea thing that has the capability to use magic and put on spells as they tell the tale of growing up befriending the mermaid until her very last moments, yet was everything that happened to the mermaid even their fault like everyone blames?

Well it's up to you to find out.

P.S. When searching for quotes I saw many by Sarah Henning who wrote a book called Sea Witch and then I had to give it a read and it is a spectacular retelling of how the sea witch came to be, and no I'm copying her in anyway I'm just doing my own version and take.

I already planned what I'm doing out and I only read that today which is why I was only able to put this up now.

Anyways, if enough people are interested then maybe I'll put more up soon.
