In Q2 Pecco let Jack towed him to be in the top, this was a plan of the Ducati factory.
Pecco known as a rider who hates towing, i do not sure what does he think about others follow him, but he hates following others. Once i saw in MotoGP documentary his boss told his to follow others to gain a speed and he got mad, but this is his teammate of course he was fine with it.
The Ducati's plan was to get both of Pecco and Jack in the front row, and they did! Pecco is good at dry conditions and Jack is great for wet conditions, 100% chance of winning both dry and wet races, BRILLIANT PLAN!
Unfortunately Pecco crashed out but at least Jack finished 2nd, great pace!
It's obvious that the Ducati's plan was to halt the risk of unpredictable weather in Le Mans. Well, couple days earlier the forecast at Le Mans on the race day wasn't look good, it seemed like it was gonna rain on that day well, it did when Moto3 came out and they have to restart the race, but after that it was sunny for the rest of the day. What a dramatic weather!
