Chapter 15 Part 2

And not from drugs. I knew this. This was pain.

"Please." He whispered brokenly. Then he kissed my forehead.

My chest felt as though it was about to burst. I was stuck. I couldn't move.

He put a loose strand behind me ear and walked away.

And there I was. Stuck. Still at the door.

Until I heard the floor creek.

"Mommy?". Shit.

I quickly closed the door and tucked my strap into my robe jacket and closed it completely.

I took a minute to compose myself before I turned around. I let out a fake yawn to desquise the fact that I had just made eye contact with the only man I have ever truly loved. Lunas father.

"Yes LuLu? How did you sleep honey." I asked while picking her up and taking her to the kitchen.

"Good mommy, until I heard a loud noise. It scared me. " She said while wiping her face before the tears fell. I hate that this is what my child's life has come to. The fact that she cant even hear a loud knock on the door before thinking that her world is going to fall apart. 

"Shhh..." I began to rock her body side to side while reaching for her sippy cup in the refrigerator.

"It was only a knock at the door mama." I handed her the cup and watched her flush cheeks regain their natural color.

"Okay mommy. I have to call Tay Tay back." I quickly picked her up and ran her into her room.

"Stay here and drink your juice. Mommy will be back."closed and locked her door.

I ran into my room, put my powerful friend away, and climbed on top of Que. I had to play this right or 1. He was going to ask questions or 2. He was going to be pissed.

I kissed his face a thousand times to wake him up.

"Alright alright." He smiled.

I gave him the "get the fuck out your just a booty call look." Welp there goes me playing it safe. 

"Que.." I started.

He moved me off of him slowly and began to put his clothes on.

"You dont have to say anything. Everything's good." He fixed his wrist watch and gave me on last kiss. But this one was different. It made my legs weak. He grabbed my ass and braced us both by using his free hand on the back wall. Fuck.

"See you later mami." And with that he was out of the door.

I took a few seconds to get my life together. I threw on some black biker shorts and a white nike sports bra.

Then I walked back into Lu's room.

"Now. What do you mean by 'Call Tay Tay back'?"

"Well when I kept hearing the loud noise, I dis what you told me to do. I hid and my closet and called Tay Tay." She said while playing with her blanket.
