"You say it's not a serious relationship and yet, you wish to protect her image to the public im assuming?" I almost smirked that time but I need to play this one cool. Take her for a spin because I already know my answer from her.

It's clear as day.

Just didn't see this happening so soon, but they are two sides of the same coin...

"I mean- wouldn't any other friend want to protect their friend's image?" She was getting anxious.

"Yes and we have an interesting dynamic with doing whatever it takes for eachother. But with you, it's rather different," I gave a subtle smirk.

"I- I don't know what you're talking about," she mumbled.

"Is it now? I remember our terms of us being in fake relationship. Primarily because you're not looking for anything serious so it was a safe guard that I wouldn't risk hurting you," I started from the beginning of my context.

"W-what does that have to do with me protecting Rachel's image with the press about a fake pregnancy?" She was getting a little antsy.

Oh, she knows it too.

She knows the answer.

"In fifteen minutes, we'll enter the theatre hall for the fundraiser event!" The announcer spoke into the microphone and we still continued our little walk n' talk.

"Everything if you ask me," I softly chuckled.

"How?!" She was growing rather... frantic.

"I have reason to believe- well, tell me if I'm wrong first. I have reason to believe that the main reason why you're devoted about this fake pregnancy scandal- that may not even happen- is because you have feelings for her," I was rather soft with the touch to the subject.

"I- what makes you think that?" She whisper yelled.

"Why else would you suggest that you two are in a relationship knowing the press is aware of our little teases of intimacy at events?" I looked down at her smugly as she stared at the ground again blushing pink.

"I still don't see how you would-

"It makes perfect sense for me actually. For you to suggest something 'true' rather than feed more lies. Because it's true you two have something going on, ever since you moved here, you've been living with Rachel as a roomie. A connection was bound to have been created... a connection that shouldn't be kept in secret. If the pregnancy scandal were to have been announced to the public, it would put a strain on you two in a sense. One, because you're both women that have interest amongst one another and now a man is now mysteriously involved with this fake scandal. Two, it wouldn't be 'nothing serious' unless you were initially okay with the fake scandal. But clearly you're not because you're 'not so serious' relationship will kept secret and hidden for some time," I caught her eyes.

She didn't say anything as her lips parted and she was stunned.

"Feeling as though you don't want to keep the person you are deeply connected with as a secret is something I relate to," I softly smiled thinking of the mess I'm in with Lillian- god that woman.

"But a feeling such as that, isn't just some feeling to brush off. You say it's nothing serious, but to me it's clear you have feelings for her," I smirked at Veronica calling her out.

She remained silent completely in shocked with what I've said, not that she shouldn't be.

"My question to you is- friend to friend- a friend that's concerned about her friend: what are your true intentions with her? I wouldn't want her to be with someone who says one thing to sugar coat the real thing," I was plain and straightforward as we headed through the curtains that led to the main event.
