Stefani's POV

Today's been-

Off...

It's been almost a week since Lillian came over- the house is actually- well, complete.

"Okay what's next on our to do list?" Rachel went into the fridge to grab us a fruit bowl.

"I think we're at the phase where I make my appearance as Stefani's fake girlfriend," Veronica added and playfully feeds me a grape.

I rolled my eyes and went along making her giggle.

"No we're not, I haven't told Lillian exactly how Veronica fits into all of this," I sighed.

"Okay but the last conversation y'all two had confirmed she's invested into you- which might I ask how you managed to do that so smoothly?" She struck a good question.

"I told her the truth about the engagement ring," I simply stated as I took her fork and ate the cubed watermelon from it.

"I know that was rough," Rachel pours sparkling cider into three flutes and hands us one each.

"It started out rough, I'm just glad I struck the landing," i swirled my drink around watching the bubbles foam up.

That night... nothing happened except the truth, and I couldn't be more pleased that I was right to put it out there.

"That's one cat out of the bag, but what about ahem- the assistant? The blackmailing too?" Rachel reminds me the biggest knife I have to pull.

"Got me there, I could stage my dad and have him stumble into his own fall out. But, that just adds more to the list fo secrets I have to keep from Lillian and I don't want that," I sighed.

"As for victories, you won this battle. If everything keeps running smoothly, sure enough the war is yours," Veronica remains positive swaying my thoughts to look down the road rather the uphill.

"Ours, you mean. At this rate, Rachel is bound to be an image consultant after pulling this one off  and id have you running your own little gym somewhere nice. Tell me, what's your ideal gym?" I took a sip and say it down to sit back and avert my attention to Veronica.

"I want it to be intense, vigorous. I want mirrored walls everywhere so everyone can see their form and make sure their having an effective workout. I think it would be really nice to have staff to also be spotters whenever someone wants to do free weights," Veronica drifted into her thoughts.

I contemplated on where an ideal gym would be in New York. Considering there aren't too many options..

"How about a rooftop gym?" I suggested and Rachel arches one of her brows.

"I mean listen, no one has ever heard of a roof top gym and that should be all the more attention grabbing for consumer goods," i noted.

"Stop the sexy nerd talk and speak English," Rachel whined.

"There are a lot of spaces that have a rooftop. For example, let's say there's a yoga place that runs the bottom floor of a facility, and then the mid floor is for chiropractor, spa and massages and then on the roof top, we have weight lifting equipment and an outdoor pool," i described the ideal gym.

"Holy shit, that's like- and it's all in one building... and what would we call such a thing?" Rachel became invested.

"Utopia obviously. You have everything you need in one tall ass building. Efficiency is luxury," I pointed out.

"A roof top pool for a luxury gym," Rachel sighed dreamily.

"Okay but I want commoners to have access," Veronica added.
