The night is hot, particularly hot. Shelby says it is because of the blood moon, that huge red circle glancing over the graveyard like the angry eye of an ancient demon.

"They're gonna be specially pissed off today," he says, before climbing to the top of the higher crypt at the graveyard. "Two minutes, bugger. Let's see what are you made off."

"Then pay attention, old man," Xio smirks.

Between her fingers, there are needles. Big ones made for sewing leather. All afternoon, while she was practicing throwing needles for a failed idea, she realized those are the only ones strong enough to break through tough objects. The first hand raises from the ground. The last night starts.
Xio quickly throws a few needles to the tombstones ending up deeply pined to them. Between the needles a thin waxed thread shines red under the moonlight. The ghoul escapes its grave prepared to run towards the fence, but Xio pulls from the end of the thread with strength. Suddenly the monster finds itself tangled in the middle of a web of thread. It growls and tries to force its way out, but Xio throws three more needles, just like throwing her yo-yo. The needles pass over some threads and then she pulls quickly to knit them on the strings.
It all takes 3 seconds and no notifications pop up in front of her, but the ghoul won't go anywhere now. The second one is a tricky one. It's already running away, so Xio casts another line of thread that ties around the ghoul's neck with the needle as an anchor. She then ties the end of the line to a tombstone and another ghoul is out.

    "Koko!" She shouts.

«Kaw!». The bird dives from the sky taking the needle Xio is holding out for him.

Koko zigzags between the tombstones and, a few moments later, there's a thread net around the whole graveyard. The ghouls sometimes jump it, other times crawl under it, but they don't seem to be able to break it; it's all thanks to the waxing. Then the teleporting starts. Xio appears out of nothing to throw needles everywhere tying the corpses one by one. The ones that try to escape end up on the ground tied up like rodeo calves.

    «Kaw-kaw-kaw!» Koko caws from afar.

"One moment!" Xio answers. She finishes with one ghoul and quickly snaps her fingers to change places with the raven. In front of her there are four corpses already climbing over the fence. "Oh, no you won't!"

Xio casts the eight needles between her fingers at the same time. They pass between the bars before she pulls from the strings one last time. Boney and rotten legs and arms are now tightly woven to the fence. Growls can be heard all around the graveyard. No monster was «attacked», so she was mostly ignored, therefore, she wasn't even slightly hurt.
Just for the sake of it, Xio changes places with Koko who was overseeing the place. From the sky, the graveyard is just a black hole now that the battle has ended and her eyes went back to normal. But the moon makes the threads shine like red lasers between the tombs. It looks like a work of art to her eyes.
It all ends at 1 in the morning, so Xio just patrols the grounds the rest of the time left and, at exactly 3 am, a notification pops up.
