It's been 17 years since the battle with Eren

The events of that day had completely stopped Eldian prejudice allowing them to be treated as normal humans

Walking out of a small wooden house a girl with blonde hair walked up a hill

Her arms swayed as she walked letting the hair bands bounce around

One black with 3 snowflakes and the other red with bits of yellow around the edges

She walked right to a statue of a man in Paradise scout military clothing in his right hand he held a sword pointing forward at the field of which Eren jeager met his end

The soldiers left arm was made out of a crystal which was see through

Sitting at the bottom of the statue the girl looked at the soldiers face

Elaine: hey there dad it's me again I just came to let you know it's my birthday today like I do every year

Elaine moved a bit of her blonde hair away from her eyes as she spoke

Elaine: I have more news about mum for you she still hasn't dated anyone since you and yesterday she broke a guys arm for hitting on her it was amazing

Elaine began laughing as spoke

Elaine: uncle Jean has started wearing a weird necklace it's shaped like a gravestone and has the name Marco written on it, he told me you gave it to him, Pieck hasn't been happy about it I don't understand how those two got together

Elaine pulled out a little book and turned some pages when she found the right one she turned it to the statue

Elaine: it looks like this now I know my drawing isn't very good but I'm trying, anyway cousin Falco is being really weird lately he keeps trying to act cool and give younger people advice about not wasting their years cause they will be old soon

Putting her book away Elaine shook her head at what she just said

Elaine: Uncle Reiner has decided to move to Paradise he said something about needing to let the past rest, and I've kept good care of the hair band you gave me all those years ago and I still don't think you were a bad dad from what I remember

Elaine was very special as she grew older she gained many supernatural abilities because of her Achillies blood one of which was perfect memory of every detail from how she felt to the tiniest bit of dust she remembered it all

Elaine: well that has been this year's update I'll talk to you again on my next birthday also if I don't leave right now mum will be annoyed cause apparently the 18th birthday is important and she along with cousin Gabi have been going crazy preparing my party

Standing up Elaine walked to the statue and tapped its left shoulder

Elaine: love you dad

As she touched the statue a yellow bit of lightning flashed from her hand and her eyes glazed over as (y/n) memories played infront of her

Returning to normal Elaine began walking back home not fazed at all by seeing those memories

Elaine: I wish that didn't happen every time also that it wouldn't show every memory there are things a daughter should not see
