The day it rains blood

??: (y/n) wake up the sun has already risen above the wall

You find yourself being stirred awake
by a femine voice in your ear but sleep felt so good you just wanted to cover your head under your blanket till the voice left you alone.

??: if you don't get up I'm gonna feed your breakfast to the stray cat's outside

(Grumble)

At the thought of breakfast your stomach began fighting you over what's better sleep or food, the fight of your wants began making your comfy soft warm bed feel colder and less soft then to top it all off your bladder thought it only fair to get a word in.

(y/n): I'm awake (yawn) don't replace me with a cat

You began blinking the sleep out of your eyes as you stared at the short blacked hair woman infront of you
this woman being your mother Anna

Anna: well why not it wouldn't make much difference

As she says this she playfully pinched your cheek and pulled you into a hug
As you return your mother's hug she begins combing your hair with her fingers

Anna: you have such pretty hair just like your fathers

You had never met your dad once, your mum always told you he was a scout who went out one expedition but had never returned  you didn't believe this fully for as long as you could remember you've never had a problem telling when someone was lying and being just a kid you'd gotten into alot of trouble abusing this gift of yours.

(Y/n): so breakfast Is on the table

Anna:(laugh) just like a cat yes breakfast is on the table and after you eat I need you to do some chores today

Groaning on the inside, you nodded and wiggled out of your mother's hug to start heading to the toilet before going for your breakfast.

                     (Time skip)

Having finished your breakfast you took the chores list your mum wrote for you and headed out, your house lays right outside of shiganshina just to your left you could peer through the gate in. You saw two kids around your age one boy one girl the boy had short brown hair and a look of pure annoyance as he grumbled something at the girl. The girl had long black hair and a scarf wrapped round most of her face so you couldn't tell what expression she had but from her eyes You could tell she wasn't really paying attention to anything that wasn't the angry boy.

(Y/n): huh those two seem close maybe they are family they are getting wood toge- ah wood mums list I need to go grab some if I don't mum will definitely give my lunch to the cats

You sped off in the opposite direction of the walls towards the mountain forest just a bit away

                       (Time skip)                        

(yes I'm gonna do those here and there just to help the story get rolling)

Drenched in sweat from wandering the the forest all day collecting wood you had lost track of time as u left the woods and began making your way back home very slowly as you had only done one task on your mum's list
You noticed the sun was beginning to set and make the sky a beautiful shade of red

(Y/n): wow I regret being so silly and only getting wood but I don't regret seeing views like thi-

(Bang)

You fell backwards as a giant flash of yellow lightning struck in the distance
And a tremor so big that it shook the trees around you.

(Y/n): by the walls what was that

(Screams begin coming from shiganshina)

Fear began to flow through your veins you had no idea what was happening but something in your gut told you to run away. Realisation hit you your house is over there with your mum was she ok what if something happened you began sprinting to the wall ditching the wood you worked so hard to get as you got close you saw hundreds of people swarming to boats and the gate closing behind them all.

(Y/n): mum!!

You scream at the top of your lungs as you finally spot your mother laid on the floor near the gate she seemed to be unconscious she must have been buried under the hundreds of people and someone may have accidentally knocked her out. As your about to run past people who couldn't get on one of the boats you feel a strong arm wrap round your stomach and pulling you back.

(Y/n): let me go I need to get to her

Garrison soldier: sorry kid it's way to dangerous the wall has fallen

As you turn your head in shock at what the soldier just said the floor began shaking and the soldiers pull became stronger as they lifted you off your feet and away from your mother

(Crash)

The gate exploded and a titan came charging through but you didn't really notice what you did notice was how the titans foot crushed your mum and her body exploded in a gush of blood that began falling down like a rainfall

Garrison soldier: I'm so sorry (sob) please forgive me (sob) yo-

(Y/n) blanked out what the soldier was saying as he stared at the titan that just took the only family he had ever known rage begin to fill every inch of (y/n)'s body eating the fear that had been sticking around till rage was all that was left

(Y/n) thoughts: I will end you no matter how long it takes your death will be by my hands not just yours all titans I will make you extinct so that in the future titans are only left in the scary stories found round a camp fire.

The Garrison soldier placed you on the back of a horse still sobbing and getting on behind you forcing the horse to start galloping away from the death and chaos to the safety of the inner walls or now new outer walls

Garrison soldier: forgive me forgive me x5

(Y/n): I can't be the one to forgive you if you want forgiveness you'll need to forgive yourself

The soldier went silent as you ride towards trost
