Description of the chapter in case you don't want to read due to the triggers: when Roman returns to the castle he isn't thrown into a cell but back into his and Remuss room. Remus stayed behind at the castle when they went to visit Virgil, and he had to convince the king to not arrest Roman for "kidnapping" prince Logan, that's when the king and his men offer him a choice, drink alcohol or be arrested and Remus realizes that the king is a cruel and disgusting man just like the other kingdoms men that came for Logan. He of course wasn't about to let them arrest his brother and to protect Logan and Roman, he asks the king to agree to a deal, he becomes the kings personal servant and does whatever the king and his men want him to do as long as he is able to keep is brother and Logan safe from them. When they bring him back to his room after all of them were drinking, he is taken advantage of. When Remus woke up he was sick to his stomach knowing exactly what they did to him, and then he hears word that they found prince Logan and his brother, he grows even more weary knowing that they might not stick to their word and he did all of that for nothing. Roman and Remus get into a fight and Remus leaves the room falling asleep by the library. Janus finds him and goes into his memory of the night before after seeing the marks, what he finds out he is in shock and pure hatred for the king and guards has him running to confront them. He is then thrown into the cell with Virgil. Virgil cleans Januss wounds and Janus offers to break the curse telling Virgil it can only be broken by someone who loves him unless Janus does it himself, Virgil tells him to let him out of the cell instead and Janus does so...Virgil with his guilty conscience runs back only to find a guard in the cell with Janus beating him. He overhears their conversation...and Virgil's in utter shock. Janus is his father. ⚠️

***back at the castle: Remus***

Remus stared at Roman in horror when he was thrown into the room. "Do I look that bad?" He asked. Remus immediately dragged Roman over to the bed.

"What the hell did you do!?" Remus asked. Roman looked at his brother confused. "You do realize they are out for your head right now!? The only reason you are not in a cell is because I convinced the king not to!" Remus hoped his brother didn't see him flinch when he said that. Remus walked away to grab more things to help him take care of Roman's injuries.

"Remus what happened? How did you convince them exactly?" He asked. Remus paused and looked at his hands.

"It's nothing Roman, let me finish." Remus walked over and noticed that Roman was looking down at his neck. Roman immediately noticed the hickeys and he stared in horror and disgust.

"Remus, who did this?" He pulled the collar down and Remus smacked his hand away.

"It doesn't matter." Roman glared.

"It does matter! What the fuck Remus that's a hickey!? So while me and prince Logan went out with Patton to find Virgil and hopefully find a way to break this damn curse you were here having intercourse with someone!!" Remus flinched.

"I can tell you, you need to shut up about something you don't understand." Remus felt tears in his eyes and he looked away from Roman so that he couldn't see them fall.

"Remus, what the hell!? Of course I understand this! I always knew you didn't care about anything but sex! Even mom and dad were disgusted by you for that!" Remus covered his mouth with his hand as even more tears flowed down his face.

"I refuse to sit here and listen to you Roman." Remus wiped away his tears. "I did what I did to protect you and prince Logan and this is what I get in thanks? You yelling at me?" Remus turned around to face his brother and Roman's eyes widened.
