Our naming system really intrigues me sometimes.
Firstly, we get our name initial by an astrologer, so mine was K.
I don't really get the logic, but let's move on.
Then, comes the actual naming. If there are old people in the house, we get such names as suggested:
-Rekha
-Sandeepa
-Bhagyashree
-Meenakshi
-Rajesh
- Sumit
- Virat
And then, we have to politely try to tell them "Ye naam purana ho gya hai, baccha paida hone se pehle buddha ho jayega."
On that note, we finally land yp with really common names, such that you find atleast 2-3 people in your society with the same name!
Like I found 6 Khushi's on Wattpad.
Baaki names too, are real common, itna ki we find them in songs sometimes.
Not only this, Indians toh kutte billi ke naam bhi rakhte hai bro. I know sab log rakhte hai, but our names are top notch creative.
Heres a rule though: ALL DOGS IN INDIA ARE TO BE NAMED AS TOMMY.
