We have such small rooms it's practically impossible to get privacy.
I mean, when youre Indian, you've got your grandparents' sleeping next to you, if your room is large, or taking over your room.
And if you're next to the, get ready for the unmissable snores.
Even if we are alone, our parents don't let us have privacy. Because locking or closing the door isnt allowed. They want everything to be infront of them.
And, more than half the rooms have clothes hanged for drying, on a rope.
Toh, the question is, soye kahaan?!
The answer: On a gaddi (mattress) in the living room.
