The Logical Song pt2

Start from the beginning

She stayed late that day in the art room, working on her project thoroughly. The end of the competition was in a few months, leaving time for all the artists to get their inspiration and finish their entire project. It had to have a general theme that could be seen in all the different art pieces.

Dawn decided to pass by the studio that day, despite the heavy rain. Yoongi wasn't there. She came back the day after and the day after. A week later she managed to enter the building and noticed his name scratched off the door.

For some time she kept coming back, hoping that something had changed but she ended up crying at home the loss of her friend, having no idea where he'd gone to. If he'd moved out, if he'd been fired, if he'd found a better town...

She walked home with a heavy heart, unaware that in the bar she just passed Yoongi was there, drinking alone and wondering how she was doing, the Logical Song blasting in his ears as he held on to whatever linked him to her.

Things with RM were going great and they'd been noticed by an SB Music manager and taken in in a matter of weeks with their hit song called Cypher, that they decided to write a sequel to. He and Namjoon were working on another song they entitled RESPECT. When he would get off work, Yoongi would search the art schools around town, aimlessly looking for a Dawn Peters somewhere, in vain.

The two of them kept looking for each other without the result they expected. They mourned the loss of a precious friendship, a blooming love and a train line which usually led them back to each other.

Time passed by, and they'd searched everywhere.

There's a place, where lovers go, to cry their troubles away, and they call it lonesome town, where the broken hearts stay...

Yoongi sighed at the depressing music, mounting in the bus, once more taking his seat in the far end corner and looking out of the window at the dull sight.

Today had been a hard day, and it had been another dead end for the last art school he'd look into. Maybe that was it, it was never supposed to happen. Some couples find each other every time. They didn't. It was like walking along a parallel wall in between them. They could search a long time and never find each other.

This was a new routine, new means of transport, now everyday the same, never cut off by the sudden arrival of a girl with a red streak in her disheveled hair, wearing bright yellow tights and drawing people she came across.

It was dull and boring
Good thing he loved his job and thrived in it. He believed that maybe one couldn't just have everything. Dawn was nowhere to be seen.

I could cry just thinkin' about you
Every line I write is something about you
Every guy I want looks something just like you
Every book I read, I only read for you
Every art piece is just to remind you

6 months later

"This way please"Dawn greeted the people with a gentle smile leading them down the hall. She couldn't believe the turn of events: just a week ago she was crowned winner of the competition with her art project which consisted of paintings and drawings with an awesome set up made of music and decorations. And now there she was, presenting her own artworks, and explaining the artist's point of view as they called it to the visitors.

She'd never felt so accomplished. Her eyes set on the first painting and a heavy wave of nostalgia hit her at the sight of the two people sat there, completely lost in their own music. Two strangers. The next painting had them talking with smiles on their faces.
