Please mind the gap between the train and the platform. The recorded voice called out in a random tone. Huffing from the speedy walk, Yoongi stepped in, quickly making his way to a vacant seat, enjoying that small pleasure of being able to sit during the ride.
Releasing a deep sigh, the young man leaned his head against the window, letting go of all the pressure from the day. Night had already fallen and exhaustion grew more and more obvious, weighing on his eyelids and shoulders.
The idea of a good sleep had motivated him to finish the day. Setting his headphone on his ears, he pressed a random song on his phone, shutting off the noisy world around him. As a Drake song blasted in his ears, he relaxed, chewing quietly, enjoying the music.
The alarm rang, the doors began closing just as a figure slipped into the train, grabbing on a pole for balance, catching the attention of the people sat there, even Yoongi who rose an eyebrow at the dramatic arrival.
Panting and disheveled, the girl pushed her hair back, readjusting her earphones and making her way to the seats with a few "sorry, thank you sorry!", before taking the vacant one just across from Yoongi. Letting out a breath, she set her bag on the floor, and relaxed in her seat.
Yoongi pulled himself forward, and his eyes traveled along the people, before meeting a pair of sea blue ones, striking him with the strange look inside of them, like something both genuine and refreshing. They had this natural density, making anyone want to immerse themselves into them. Something naive, yet also deep and soothing at the same time. They reminded him of an oasis...
Quickly looking away, the young man internally scowled. Since when did he make comparisons with strangers's eyes? Sure, being a producer and lyrics writer gave him that poetic touch and eye on the world.
Not people though. People never struck an interest. They were boring and all the same. Except for his one and only friend Hoseok.
Apart from him and his parents, he felt people were dull. He'd been deceived a few times, and never wished to waste his time on them. He loved producing music, rapping with his best friend, writing lyrics and living his life in peace.
Hoseok always teased, saying he was like a cat : he wasn't so fond of human interaction, people invading his space, and he thrived in peace and quiet. The girl let out a sigh, rummaging through her bag and pulling out a large notebook.
