You decided to start ridding your skateboard instead of walking, Dave usually got to school before you so you didn't walk together and on days he was late you did.

You grabbed your board and headed out when you got to school karkat was there and you two just walked around and talked then went to science which also the new girl Jessica was in there now ...great.

You and karkat went in and Dave came to sit by you, you didn't care to say anything but you felt like he was waiting for you to say a insult just so he could shoot one back or he just wanted something

"What do you want Dave?"

"Jessica is annoying" he said wanting you to look at him

"Why is your coolness to strong" you say sarcastically and looking at him

"Yep totally but she asked me out so I told her I have a girlfriend but she doesn't believe me and won't quit" he said looking at her

"That sucks for you what are you gonna do now Strider" you say laughing

"Convince her I have a girlfriend" he said with a smirk

"Well have fun but I bet you'll fail" you said turning to the teacher who started talking but you really didn't give a fuck about what they were saying and started to think about Dave

You started looking at Dave he was drawing something looked like two guys running around on his paper but he just looked so fucking cute this whole Strider crush sucked like god damn he was so complicated but that's how guys are sapose to be...fu nature... But why Dave you could of fell for uhh John ugggghhhh who cares.

The teacher had you guys do a project and karkat came running after you so he wouldn't have to be with Nepeta, Dave was gonna be with you but just went with John.

"Uh you don't have a girlfriend and who cares anyway why wouldn't you want me" you overhead Jessica talking to Dave

"Well if you didn't know when you like someone you stay with them and don't like other people like you" he said simple and talking to her like she was dumb which she was but it just made you laugh and get a strange look from karkat

"Well I don't care if you really have a girlfriend show me before lunch" she said demanding
"Fine" Dave said and went back to work with john who was laughing at her.

You wondered what Dave was gonna do for the whole 'girlfriend thing' does he accualy have a girlfriend that he just didn't tell you about..you don't think so...well you hope.

The rest of class you guys did whatever and when class was over you continued the rest of the day when lunch came up you were wondering what Dave was gonna do but he came up to you and said he was gonna show you something and walked you down the hallway and be for turning the corner he put his arm around you which made you blush a little untell you saw Jessica you knew what he was doing..he was gonna use you as his girlfriend.
*'what. Do. I. Do.'* you didn't know what to do so you stayed quite

"Really her?" Jessica said with a attitude
"Yup see now do you believe me" Dave said almost sounding a bit annoyed but he always kept his cool

"Ha no she is totally not good enough for you" ouch that kinda hurt but you didn't care and you sorta stop listening you were good at draining out sound you didn't care about cause you know this was going no were and Dave probably doesn't like you

"I don't like you and she's my girlfriend so I don't know what else to do"

"Kiss."

"Alright"

You herd them say something then go quite so you looked at Dave and be for you could do anything he kissed you.
