54 ❥ the redo date

Start from the beginning

"I've gone through my fair share of gold diggers Miss Faye, they're all just like you...tan, pretty smile, killer legs." He says while walking closer to me.

What the fuck.

"I'm not a gold digger sir."

"No one ever likes Asher for his personality, he's had 3 girlfriends and they have all willingly walked away with a check written by yours truly."

Okay, now I'm just confused.

Holy shit wait-

"You paid girls to break up with Asher?"

"Yes, I don't need him distracted. So, how much do you want? 50 grand? 100 grand?-"

"I don't want your money."

"Sure you do. Everyone wants my money." He smirks.

I'm about two seconds away from slapping him.

"Well, I don't."

"Listen you fucking bitch-"

"Hey, are you ready to go?" Asher says while walking into the living room.

His dad immediately backs away from me.

"I- uh yeah," I mumble.

"What are you doing here?" He asks his dad.

"I just wanted to introduce myself." His dad shrugs.

Asher looks between his dad and me before grabbing my hand and leading us out.

"What did he say?" He asks as soon as we get into the car.

"Nothing."

"Lina-"

"I'm serious Ash. He just introduced himself." I lie.

I feel bad for lying but he's already going through so much with his sister, the last thing he needs to stress out about is me.

"Okay..."

"So, where should we eat?" I ask.

"Wherever you want malady."

"I think we should have a redo first date, you know since our first one wasn't so great."

We both cringe when we think about how Madison interrupted us.

"Alright, then I have a great place we can go to." He says.

"Please don't tell me this is another surprise." I groan.

"Sorry babe."

Babe?

I like the way that sounds coming from him.

"Can I have a hint?"

"Here we go again." He laughs.

"Ash please!"

"Lina!"

"Ugh fine." I groan.

"Can I choose a song?" I ask.

He nods before handing his phone over to me.

Time to play my hubby...sorry Ash.

I scroll through his Spotify and choose a song.

Once the intro starts playing he immediately turns up the music.

"This is one of his best songs," Ash says.

I don't reply, instead, I start screaming the lyrics of "Die for you" by The Weeknd.

He just laughs at my shitty singing and actually ends up joining me.
