Mino looked at Lisa's serious expression and was stunned for a moment. Then, he sat up straight and looked at Lisa. "Why did you ask that?"

Lisa shook her head and said, "I just feel that this is too sudden."

Mino pondered for a moment and nodded. "I have the same feeling!"

"I originally didn't intend to tell anyone." Mino paused for a moment before saying, "Although you don't often stay in the Kim family, you should have noticed the problem."

"Although Uncle Cha is our family friend, we haven't contacted each other for some years," Mino stated his thoughts.

"His fiancée passed away not long ago, and previously he also didn't have much contact with Nini. Suddenly announcing the engagement..." Mino frowned.

"I also feel that there is something wrong with this," Mino said with some doubt in his tone.

Lisa looked at Mino and knew that he must have been worried about this matter for the past few days.

"Then how should we resolve this matter, Eldest Brother?" Lisa asked tentatively.

Mino was at a loss after being asked this question. He had originally thought of confirming the matter before he discussed with Father Kim.

It was because when the matter had just happened, he did voice out his doubts to Father Kim.

However, Father Kim had believed that Uncle Cha was willing to help because of their many years of brotherhood. Since it was because of brotherhood, why would he request to be engaged to Jennie?

Mino had wanted to talk to Jennie, but she always had Uncle Cha by her side.

Mino did not know what to do at the moment.

Moreover, Father Kim was so grateful to his brother for helping him in times of trouble. He did not allow others to speak bad about him.

Mino was also helpless and could only choose to continue his investigation. Since Lisa had voiced out her doubts, he also wanted to find someone to talk to.

"I think there must be something wrong with Uncle Chen," Mino continued, "And Nini is aware of it."

"I don't know what their purpose is," Mino clenched his fists. "But this feeling makes me uneasy."

"Why don't you ask Mom to talk to Jennie?" Lisa suggested.

"It's no use!" Mino sighed dejectedly. "Every time Mom goes to see her, Uncle Chen will be by her side."

"The two of them are like sticky candy, sticking together every day." The more Mino spoke, the more his brows furrowed.

"This makes me feel even more that they are abnormal!" Mino's expression became even more anxious.

Lisa thought for a moment before saying, "Has there been anything from the Lee family recently?"

Mino glanced at Lisa before saying, "Ever since Minyhuk was brought back home from the hospital, he has been grounded by his father."

"Not only that, the Lee family seems to be planning to cut off their economic ties with the Kim family." Mino's gaze swept over Lisa strangely.

Although Lisa was a little surprised, she knew that this matter had something to do with her.

She did not expect the Lee family to go this far. What exactly did they do to make the Lee family feel so disgusted?

The more Lisa thought about it, the more she could not figure it out. She could only sit on the bed and feel frustrated.

Mino looked at Lisa's appearance and walked forward, feeling sorry. He patted her head and comforted her, "It's okay! Everything will be resolved!"

"You don't have to worry too much! Eldest Brother is here! You just rest well!" Mino said as he pinched Lisa's cheek.

"Look, you've lost weight!" Mino said as he used more strength in his hands.

Lisa patted Mino's hand in pain. Mino instantly laughed out loud.

The tense atmosphere between the two of them finally relaxed a little.

"During the time you're in the hospital, don't think about anything! The Kim family... will be fine!" Mino said confidently.

Lisa nodded and looked at Mino. "I believe in you!"

Lisa had once told herself confidently that the Kim family was nothing to her!

But now...

Lisa shook her head and smiled bitterly. Perhaps she would never be able to escape that little tie of blood!

After Mino left, Lisa lay on the bed and read for a while before falling into a deep sleep.

In her dream, she saw her past self. Lying on the hospital bed, Lisa was at her last gasp. There was no one around her.

At that time, she was shouting in her heart, "I'm still young! I still want to live! I cannot accept this!"

However, no one could help her! The feeling of powerlessness and loss filled Lisa's heart...

Lisa cried out loud.
