"Asma,you spent almost an hour inside the bathroom,is everything okay?"Hameed asked and placed his left ear on the door whether he would hear something.
"No"her muffled voice echoed
"I will be out in a bit" she added . Asma now sat at the closed toilet seat ,her face scrunched in pain.
'I don't usually have cramps, then why does it have to be today and I don't have any sanitary pad left' she groaned as she stood up to the toilet cupboard and checked it for the tenth time now whether a miracle would happen and she'll see a packet of sanitary pad.
she groaned again not able to bear the pain and sat back to the closed toilet seat.
Hameed heard her faint groan and creaking sound of something been opened and closed. 'Is she having any complications,or maybe..'
he pulled away his ear from the door and stood drumming his forefinger on his chin in a thoughtful way.
'Maybe she's on her period!'he clicked his fingers together as he got it right. 'And she's in need of sanitary pad right?.'

Asma was still seated on the toilet seat when a paper and a pen were slipped from underneath the door and into the bathroom.
'What's this?'She voicelessly said.
She stood up and went to where the paper laid. Her pale cheeks tinted themselves with a shed of light pink and a faint smile made it way to her lips . 'Are you on your period?'
