Ibn Umar reported:

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people. The most beloved deed to Allah is to make a Muslim happy, or to remove one of his troubles, or to forgive his debt, or to feed his hunger.

That I walk with a brother regarding a need is more beloved to me than that I seclude myself in this mosque in Medina for a month. Whoever swallows his anger, then Allah will conceal his faults. Whoever suppresses his rage, even though he could fulfill his anger if he wished, then Allah will secure his heart on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever walks with his brother regarding a need until he secures it for him, then Allah Almighty will make his footing firm across the bridge on the day when the footings are shaken."

Dua During Difficulties.

THE DUA OF UMM SALAMAH RADHIALLAHU ANHA

"Umm Salamah (radhiallahu anha) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (salallahu alayhi wasallam) saying, "When a person suffers from a calamity and utters:

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un.
Allahumma' jurni fi museebati, wakhluf li khairan minha.

(We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. O Allah! Compensate me in my difficulty, recompense my loss and give me something better in exchange for it),

then Allah surely compensates him with reward and better substitute."

[Muslim]

Our Lord, forgive us our sins and our extravagance in our affairs. Make our feet firm, and help us against the disbelieving people. (3:147)
