a woman and a child stand in a graveyard.
their hands just barely holding each other—the woman appears to be struck by grief, tears running down her puffy face, nose red from crying. the child passively glances at the tombstone in front of her, most likely too young to understand. the date on the grave reads "may. 3 - oct. 2". the women's fingers trace the numbers with a slow hesitation, seemingly in pain. the tears drip down her cheeks collecting themselves in the tomb's inscription.

"the intangible quality of innocence makes it a target for predatory lust. when i had what he didn't, he reached deep inside me, pulling it from my bones. puddled in his hands he groped and grabbed it until it gave up, experiencing its dying breaths decades too early"

the child peers up at the woman, wondering why her birthdate is written on the tomb. the women looks down at the child remembering the death date well.
