march 13 7 AM;
I don't like waking up before the sun does.
youll tell me that the sun never sleeps,
and I'll argue that she does:
for when I don't see her she must be sleeping.
you'll say i'm egocentric,
and i'll say that you're falsely altruistic.
i never thought sun revolved around me,
it's more a question of perspective:
the sun is a quick fix for depression,
letting her rays penetrate my skin,
the warmth convincing me i'll survive.
arriving to school, with the absence of the gentle moon and caressing sun
i'm placed in the crosshairs of the lazy dusk;
where neither of my planetary mothers are there to save me.
