Kai was sat at the breakfast table when his father walks in
"Bella's going to the movies with her friend" Charlie announced taking Kai by suprise
"She's leaving her room?" Kai asks
Charlie shrugs "That's what she says."
"Is it only because you threatened to send her to mom?" Kai asks
Charlie let's out a deep sigh "I believe so"
"Do-do you think she'll be okay?" Kai frowns. Kai was extremely worried about his sister, he'd never seen her like this. And it was all Edward Cullens fault. Kai absolutely hates Edward Cullen. It's his fault. All of this is his fault, Bella going into a depression, Rosalie leaving. It's all that pale idiotic boys fault.
"I-i hope so" Charlie rubs his forehead "How are you doing kid?"
Kai forces a smile "I'm doing okay ,Dad"
"Good. I- i know that girl she-she hurt you badly and i hate that i don't know how to help"
"I'm doing okay dad," Kai assures "And only time can help"
Charlie huffs "When did you get so smart kid?"
"I'd say i got it from my pops but..." Kai trails off making his father shake his head with a fake glare
"Hey! Don't be rude now" Charlie fake threatens
"Sorry sorry" Kai hold his hands up
"Okay, i've got to get to work" Kai nods
"Stay safe dad" Kai calls out to his father who nods and closes the door behind him
Kai gets up and walks to Bella's room. He stands in the doorway with his arms crossed
"So i heard you are going to the movies with a friend" Kai speaks making Bella look at him and shrug
"Yeah, Jessica and i made plans"
Kai gasps "Jessica? As in Jessica Stanley? The same Jessica who you can't stand?"
Bella nods "That would be her"
"But-but you hate her" Kai argues
"Hate is a very strong word" Bella says "And i don't hate Jessica i-i like her?"
Kai gives her a knowing look "Bella don't even lie to me"
"Fine, fine, i don't like her but i don't hate her." Bella admits "I just don't like her as much as i do Angela"
"So why don't you invite Angela?" Kai furrows his brows
"Because-because i- i didn't think of her" Bella frowns "And now it's too late since Charlie already thinks i'm going out with Jessica"
"So now you're trapped" Kai laughs
Bella throws her pillow at him "Don't laugh at me, help me" she whines
Kai hold the pillow and shakes head "You made your bed now you gotta lay in it"
"Come-come with us" Bella suggests
"Oh hell no! I'm definitely not going out with Jessica" Kai exclaims
"Jessicas not so bad" Bella argues and Kai gives her a look "Fine-fine but-but i'm your twin sister"
"Yeah your my sister and i'd take a bullet for you but no" Kai smiles innocently
Bella sighs "but-" Kai cuts her off
"Nope" he leaves the room
Kai goes into his room and looks at the empty wall. It was so plain and ugly, he missed all the photos he had ripped off. Kai pulled out his phone and sent Tracy a message to meet him in the woods. Once Tracy sent back an okay Kai set off.
Kai pulled his car into the spot near the woods and waited for Tracy to come. Kai spots Tracy's car but she wasn't alone. Paul Lahote sat besides her actually wearing a shirt.
Tracy gets out of the car and walks towards Kai with Paul following her.
"I hope you don't mind i brought a friend" Tracy nods towards Paul
"It's not safe out in the woods alone" Paul comments
"Yeah, no problem" Kai shrugs
"So what are we doing out here in the woods?" Tracy questions
Kai hold up his camera which was around his neck "I thought i could get a few pictures to put in my room. I kinda trashed the others"
Paul frowns "So why'd you call Tracy?" a hint of jealousy shone in his voice which was easily ignored
"Because she's my best friend" Tracy gasps dramatically
"I'm honored. That's- that's adorable Malachi" Kai rolls his eyes
"Yeah yeah. Sorry i made your ego grow" Kai playfully glares, Paul's frown deepens as the two go back and forth bickering.
"Okay let's get this over with before i freeze my tits off" Tracy says pulling her jacket closer to her chest
The trio make their way into the forest. Kai had his camera up and snapping pictures of the trees and sky. The animals which didn't notice them. And Kai even snapped a few pictures of Tracy and Paul who looked quite cozy next to each other.
It was cute to watch. Paul who was the resident player was almost on his knees and wrapped around her little finger. Paul's arms was draped around Tracy's shoulder as her lips turned blue from the cold.
"I think we can go" Kai announced getting a sigh of relief from Tracy
"Just before i become a popsicle" she jokes
"Yep, couldn't let you freeze to death" Kai smiles
"Cause you love me" Tracy pulls the words teasingly
"Yeah, now let's go"
