14. I follow

Bella's plans to go shopping never changed so Kai sat at home alone on a Saturday watching TV.

Suddenly knocking is heard and Kai gets up and goes to open it. He's surprised when he sees Rosalie.

"Rosalie" he mumbles as she gives him a weak smile "Come- come on in" he steps against as the blonde walks in
"What are you doing here?" his eyes widen "Not- not that i'm not happy you're here" he mentally curses himself as she gives him a look of amusement

"I needed to talk to you" she say, he nods and leads her toward the couch

She sits down besides him and smiles at him.

"What did you want to talk about?" he asks

She takes in a deep breath looking down at her lap "I've been thinking... i really like you Kai, on a level you wouldn't understand" he smiles blushing

"I really, really like you too, Rosalie"

"No, you don't get it Malachai, the way i feel for you... it's more than just like, and i shouldn't be having these feelings" she finally looks at him "I'm not normal. i'm not human" he narrows his eyes confused

"What do you mean by not human, Rosalie" she chuckles darkly

"Exactly that"

"Is that why you feel you're not worth it?"she nods
"Sorry to say, Rosalie, but i don't care if you're a freaking alien as long as you're you that's all that matter"

Rosalie stares at the boy in shock

"I'm a monster" she adds

"And i'm spider-man" he says she gives him a look as he shrugs "I thought we were stating things that's weren't true."

Rosalie gives him a look that makes him realize how serious the conversation truly were

"What are you?" Kai asks "Since you state you're not human"he adds

"Think about it: i'm cold to the touch, you never seen my family in the sun, you saw what Edward did that day he saved you and your sister" she stands and he follows

Rosalie walks to the door opening it, before closing it she looks at him

"Think about it Kai, you're smart you'll figure it out." she smiles at him before closing the door leaving a very confused boy behind.

That's night Kai couldn't sleep, he was very conflicted. His mind was going crazy. The words Rosalie left behind played in his head on repeat. Not human? What could that mean?

Sunday came and Kai was in no better mood. Not sleeping the night before really effected him badly.

Kai sat down and starting going through google. He put in each and every thing that Rosalie had said and scrolled down all the possibilities but yet they all seemed way to stupid to be true.

Reading every article, something caught his eye. Vampires. He scoffed at the thought as he read the information provided. It seemed ridiculously that he was even debating this being a possibility.

Closing his laptop he put it on his desk seeing as it's already late and he needed sleep before the next day for school.

Kai fell into sleep but his mind never stopped running. Every moment with Rosalie played through his head. Every glance at the all to beautiful family. His mind also wondered through the information it had absorbed from the internet.

Kai jumped awake his eyes wide.

"Vampire." he gasps

"So you figured it out" Kai jumps he whips his head in the direction of the voice to see the familiar golden eyes staring a him.

"Rosalie" he closes his eyes and put a hand on his heart "How the hell did you get in here?"

"Window" she mumbles and he nods "I'm sorry for scaring you"

"No you're not" he takes a deep breath.
Kai pats the bed besides him and the vampire hesitantly sits.

"You're not afraid?" she asks confused

"I could never be afraid of you" he shook his head

"Then you're an idiot" he looked at her confused "Have you never wondered what we eat? What i eat?"

"Not really no" he shakes his head locking eyes with her "And quite frankly i don't think you'd kill me"

"And what gave you that conclusion?"

"I'm way to handsome to be killed" he teased

"Oh, most definitely" she agrees smiling at him

"And plus you really like me" he quotes her and she chuckles

"I really do" she agrees

The two sat in comfortable silence till Kai spoke

"Rosalie?"

"Yes, Malachai?" she asks

"What are we?" she looks at him

"I'm not sure yet" she shrugs "But i'm willing to try"

"You're willing to try" he smiled at her brightly

"Only if you are" she adds

"I told you before, i'm 100% in"

"Goodness, Kai, what are you doing to me" she closed her eyes

He reached out and brushes his finger over her cheek

"Can i kiss you?" he asks

"Please" she all but begs

Kai leans forward and his lips hover over hers. His hot breath against her cold. Rosalie leans up and their lips meet.
Fireworks were sent between the two as the mixture of cold and hot worked together perfectly. They fit together like puzzle pieces. So perfect ,yet so different, but so made for each other.

The two pulled away as Kai needed air

"I'm falling fast Rosalie" he mutters against her lips

"I'll catch you" she promised and kissed him again.
