Kai was pacing back and forth his phone in his hand. He was debating whether or not to phone the mysterious girl who saved his life.
"Just do it" he said pushing the call button
It rang and rang until finally the line came on. Kai started pacing again
"Hello?" the soft voice asks
"Hey-um hey! It's- It's Kai" he rubbed the back of his neck "The-the guy you saved" he added closing his eyes
"Oh, yes" she exclaimed "I thought you'd never call"
"Yeah, i'm sorry. I've been" he pauses "Busy"
"Sure" She giggles "So why'd you call?"
"I was wondering...if maybe you'd like to go out?" he asks
"Are you asking me on a date? I don't even know your name" she teases
Kais face heats up "Um, My, um...my names Kai well Malachai but everyone calls me Kai, because i mean who names their kid Malachai it's like my oared expected me to be a psychopath or something. I'm-i'm rambling sorry it's habit when i'm nervous" he cringes
The girl on the other end giggles "Do i make you nervous Kai?"
Kai let out a awkward laugh "A little bit"
"Fine, pick me up at 7"
"What?"
"For our date dummy" she teases making Kai mentally face palm
"Yeah, yeah i'll see you at seven" he says
"See you soon Kai"
Kais eyes widen "Wait, you said if i called you'd tell me your name"
"Ah, that would be to easy. How about i give you the first letter and i'll tell you the rest tonight" she flirts
"Y-yeah" Kai stutters
"It's starts with an S" the line goes dead and Kai is left frozen
"Damn" he mutters under his breath
When it was finally close to 7, Kai was rushing to get ready. He combed his hair and grabbed a jacket before kissing his sisters head, who gave him no reaction and head off out the door.
Kai drove to the address that the mystery girl sent him. When pulling up Kai got out of his car and straightened his shirt before walking to the door. He knocked and waited until the door opened by a girl with blonde hair.
Kai raised his brows as the girl twirled her hair around she'd finger and smirked at him.
"I'm Kai" he said and it looked as if it clicked in her mind, she dropped her hair
"I'm Elle come on in" she steps aside letting him walk in, she closed the door behind him "She'll be down in a sec"
