Rosalie dropped Kai at school and he was immediately bombarded by Alice. She hugged him tightly, luckily not enough to cause actual injuries. She handed him a gift and told him he was to wear it to the party. He nodded thanking her and he was off.
He walked to class and smiled when he took his seat next to Angela. The two had surprisingly grown quite close, they shared a lot of classes together and without Rosalie they bonded. The two spent the class talking and sending each other notes.
Once the bell rang and Kai went to his next class which he had with Tracy. He took his seat next to her and she grinned at him.
"Happy birthday" she whispered making him roll his eyes
"I told you that by accident" he whines making her giggle
"Well to bad, you did and you get a gift" she held out a wrapped canvas and smiled at him "Please, it will hurt my feeling if you don't take it" Kai rolled his eyes and accepted it
He opened it carefully and his heart melted at the drawing. It was one of himself and Rosalie, it was beautiful.
"This is... this is absolutely beautiful" he pulled her into a hug "Thank you"
Tracy smiled at him "Not bad for a gift you didn't want" she teases
Kai nods blushing "Yeah, thank you Trac"
Tracy shrugs "No problem birthday-boy" Kai rolls his eyes
"If anyone hears you i will never speak to you again" he threatens making her laugh
She pats his shoulder "Sure Malachai, but than who are you gonna talk with in this god awful place?"
Kai shook his head "I have Angela"
"But i'm better" she grinned at him
"I beg to differ" he shot back making her dramatically hold her hand over her heart
"I'm..i'm hurt" she faked crying making Kai pout at her
"You want me to call you a wambulance"
Tracy hit his shoulder "That's enough Modern Family for you"
"Boo you whore" Tracy burst out laughing
She whips away a tear "I should have never let you watch Mean girls either"
"How rude!" he shot back fighting hard to keep in his own laugh
"Yup that's enough TV for you" Tracy said narrowing her eyes at him
Kai held his hand up in surrender "Fine, fine i'll stop"
"You better" she fake glares at him
"You got it dude" he holds a thumbs up to her making her shake her head
"I don't know why we're friends"
Kai gasps "I believe you said you wouldn't survive this hell hole without me"
