You walk out of the mall with your new dress. You tried it on and it fits absolutely perfectly, it's perfect for you, you can hardly wait for prom.

"Gus is gonna think you're really pretty!" Willow grins, hugging your arm.

"I... i guess." You smile.

"Hey guys, I hate to cut it short but I should probably be heading home." You say.

"Oh it's okay Y/n!" Amity says.

"Yeah that's fine! We'll see eachother tomorrow night at prom!" Willow says.

"Yep! I'll see you guys then! Thanks for everything!!" You grin, running off.

The girls shout bye as you run towards the entrance. As soon as you get outside you hold out your palisman and then start riding it back home.

It didn't take that long but as soon as you get back home you see someone lying against the wall of your house. You blink and shiver as soon as you see who it is.

"Hunter?!" You yell.

"Hiiii~" he smiles.

"Go back home!" You say walking up closer to him.

"Y/n, let me explain something to you, please!" Hunter says.

"I don't wanna hear it right now." You sigh.

"It's important, look I was being so stupid, please if you could just listen to me!" Hunter says.

"No! You told me you wanted me gone so I'm gone." You say, opening your door.

"Y/n!" Hunter says grabbing your wrist.

"Let me go!" You say.

"I know your going to Grom." Hunter says.

You stop and turn around to look at him. He has a serious yet sad expression on his face.

"Hunter... no. No no no. If you ruin Grom, because of me, I swear I'll-" you say.

"You'll what, hit me? Attack me? I know you wont." Hunter smiles.

"Just... don't! Just don't go!" You say.

"I just want you to listen to me Y/n!" Hunter pleads.

"No!" You say, trying to rip his hand off your wrist.

"Y/n... please! You mean so much to me!" Hunter pleads, grasping your arm tighter.

"Your... just saying that." You say.

"I'm not, look I'm only gonna say what I wanna say if you give me your full attention." Hunter says.

"If not then I guess I'll make you." Hunter says.

You freeze up. These past few days you've felt so confident without him, but him saying these things is making you feel weak for him.

Confused you stay silent.

"...fine then. I guess I don't have a choice." Hunter says letting go of your hand.

You hold your hands together.

"I'll see you." Hunter smiles sadly.

You frown. Hunter gets on his Pakistan, looking at you one more time before he sets off to go on his own.

And like that he's off.

You take a deep breath and go inside. Great something to worry about....

You take out your dress and hang it up, and lye on your bed. Now what are you going to do?

You pull out your phone and open Gus's contact.

Y/n: he came to my house.... 😥

Gus: what?????

Y/n: he knows im going to Grom tomorrow, and I think he's going to meet me there? I don't know. This is all so confusing....

Gus: we'll... just stay away from him? And I'll make sure your not alone either, I'll accompany you so he doesn't bother you :)

Y/n: thank you Gus, i appreciate it 😅

Gus: of course! :D

Y/n: don't tell the others though I don't want them to worry...

Gus: no worries it's okay!

Y/n: thank you Gus... :)

The conversation ends quickly from there. You sit there lying in bed thinking and thinking and thinking. What's going to happen?

You get a text from your mother. So you open your phone again and tap on her messages.

Mom: did you come inside? I'm in my room, I had work off today, I wasn't feeling well

Y/n: oh im sorry mom.. yes that is me I am home.

Mom: were you talking to someone outside? I thought I heard voices.

Y/n: no, i wasn't just have been the neighbors.

Mom: I see, hey come over to my room, let's spend some mommy daughter time why don't we?

Y/n: okay.

You put your phone down and head to your mothers room. Once you open the door you see your mother lying on her bed. You walk up to her and scoot next to her, she wraps an arm around you.

"How are you sweetie?" Mom asks.

"Fine, I got a dress for Grom." You smile.

"Oooh, I can't wait to see it, who's the lucky guy?" Mom grins.

"No one, I'm just going with friends." You state.

"How fun, Grom for me at your age was actually when I met your father." Mom says.

"Really?" You say.

"Yes, we met at Grom, I had a date there but he never arrived. I sent so many messages asking where he was but no answer. I thought of maybe leaving." Mom says.

"I went out in the hallway in front of the bathrooms, and cried to myself for a bit, that's when your father came out the restroom, and layed eyes on me crying, he complimented my dress and so on, it made my night, he noticed I was upset so our conversation shifted from that to what I was upset about, which was the other man." She continues.

"He showed me his care through that, and just like that we started dating." Your mother says.

"Wonder if you'll find your grom husband." Mom says patting my back.

"Nah..." you laugh.

You lay on your moms shoulder.
