(A/N: I don't know any of the languages mentioned. So there won't be actual sentences)

Today, you're on your computer. You opened the Google chat and found that there's an unread in the group chat with Lumine. Maybe she's still online.

Lumine: Aether? Are you online?

(your username) has set their status to Active

Lumine: Oh, it's you.

You: don't worry, aether's right here. i'll just go get him...

You: anyways what do you want?

Lumine: I was going to ask how he is there in your world.

You: Spiral Abyss portal.

Lumine: Oh.

You: Idk so i'll go now. Bye

Lumine: Bye.

You closed the Google chat and started what you were supposed to do. You recited sentences. Japanese sentences. Ei actually heard you and approached you.

Ei: What are you doing?

You: I was practicing Japanese.

Ei: Japanese? The sound of how you recite it sounds familiar...

You: Huh. Try reciting this sentence.

Ei: Alright.

Ei starts reciting the sentence, and she spoke rather fluently.

You: Wow, that was good.

Ei: It sounds like Inazuman language...sometimes my subjects speak the local Inazuman language. Most of the time, it's Miko who speaks Inazuman.

You: Oh. That's an interesting fact.

You: In my world, Hoyoverse made the game's nations based on real countries. Inazuma is based off Japan.

Ei: Hmm...are there any others?

You: Mondstadt is based off Germany, atleast that's all I know. And Liyue, probably China.

Ei: Do you know the languages?

You: Apparently, no for Chinese, but I think I know a little bit about German.

Ei: Ask someone from Mondstadt if they know.

You: I'll ask Venti. Or Jean if he's drunk.

Ei: Alright, I'll be going now.

You went to Venti's room to find him fainted. Right beside him was wine. Drunk again...so you went to Jean's room instead.

You: Jean, could i ask you a question?

Jean: Yes? What is it?

You: Could you read this sentence I wrote down?

When Jean read the German sentence, she also spoke fluently. Maybe it's true.

Jean: I do understand what it says...it looks familiar.

You: It's German, a language from another country in my world. It sounds similar to Mondstadt's local language.

Jean: Yes, it is...

Jean: I'm still not sure if it is the same.

You: Okay, I'll go to someone else now.

You went into Genshin and equipped Chinese text. You picked one of Zhongli's lines and went straight up to him (the Zhongli in your world).

Zhongli: What is it, y/n?

You: Can you read this? *points at Chinese text*

Zhongli: That's the local Liyue language...

You: Can you read it though? It's Chinese, a language from my world.

Zhongli: Of course.

It seems like Zhongli was right. It is Liyue's local language.

You: Nice.

Zhongli: Anything else?

You: Nope, that's all. I'll be on my way now.

Zhongli: Okay then.
