Chapter 1-The journey begins

Tommy POV

As soon as I heard the weird lab counted person speak I scream at the top of my lungs until he cover my mouth

"Hey hey it's okay your safe kid just calm down," He said but I wasn't believing him I threw his hand out of my mouth and ran to the opening I saw until he stopped me

"Kid don't you know it's dangerous going to the tall grass," he said while grabbing my shirt

"Wait what the f**k do you mean it's dangerous," I said then I was silent as I beep while I was cursing so this weird place had a filter

"You don't know," He said surprised

"I mean yeah I just woke up here b***h," I told him while he looked surprised

"Okay so in this tall grass there's something called Pokémon and they're little creatures," He said pulling out a weird ball shape thing and it popped open showing three cute little things

"With quite a cute look and a powerful punch I'm Professor Elm and here in the Johto region I study the mystery of pokémon eggs and how Pokèmon lay them," Professor Elm said

"Ok Elm I'm Tommy I'm sorry for freaking out" I apologized to him while he just laughed

"Hey Tommy since you don't know anything about pokèmon how about you be my assistant, of course, you can choose your own partner pokémon," Elm said I thought about it and honestly it sounds good I get a cute companion and I learned about this world

"Sure" I agreed while he just snapped his fingers making his pokémon line up

"Ok Tommy now I'll introduce you to these guys but you can only choose one so here's

Chickorita the Grass Pokémon she a great help on anything and is quite gentle with little kids

And Here's Cyndaquil the Fire Pokémon he's got a great personality but he's quite shy but don't let that stop you and he's got a power inside him just waiting to shine

And lastly Tododile the water type Pokémon he's playful but just like Cyndaquil he's strong but he's also really dense

So who would you choose Tommy" Elm said explaining everything to me while also telling me about the Pokémon I looked at them and couldn't decide until I saw Cyndaquil he looked unsure about being here like he didn't belong he kinda looks like me when I was younger and exiled

I walk to Cyndaquil and pet his head

"Cyndaquil will you be my partner," I said making the Cyndaquil jump around with happiness and hugged me

Elm walked to me with a smile and the ball machine out again

"This is his Poké ball say Cyndaquil return and the energy beam will take him back inside," Elm said I looked at Cyndaquil then at the ball and decided

"Can he stay outside? I don't want him to think I'm ignoring him" I asked to which he just gave it to me and nodded

"You can also nickname him if you want," he said I turn to Cyndaquil and thought what would be a good name I'll be honest I'm not good at naming things but for him, he needs the best name

I thought about Techno and his stupid mythology names and I decided which one I wanted to name him

"His name is Ares," I said then I little window popped in my front of I think it's normal since Elm didn't seem surprised
