The youngest teen rolls his eyes furthermore, bringing his hand out into the rain so the weak water droplets can fall into his dark palm, breaking apart into small splashes.
He loathes the rain, it always got his untamed hair matted, rendering it even harder to handle. He hates the sun, too, it was too bright for his green eyes. He hated clouds, he hated the spring, and he hated the dirt. There was nothing he didn't hate about the weather.
"This sucks." The blonde smiles at his grim behavior, bumping his shoulder against his brother's melodramatic onyx jacket." Come on Jeffery, don't be so dramatic. Who knows, you might like it here." He admits, and their mother pursues her husband inside the house, both unlocking the freezing gold doorknob with a matching key.
Her shrieks of enthusiasm could be heard, as Jeffery sighed." I reckon I might kill myself." He spoke in a monotone voice, and his older brother laughs yet again," You are so much of a drama queen, quit it!" He teases, and Jeffery eventually lets out a chuckle, a grin covering his cheeks as he wraps an arm around his brother's shoulders.
His brother was taller, making him have to basically lean on him. Liu was the definition of tall and skinny. His face was a bit more rounder than his brothers, and his eyes were almond shape to make room for his deep sky blue eyes. His dirty blonde hair was always trimmed perfectly to reach the tip of his tan ear lobes. He was certainly a heartbreaker in the looks department, that's for sure.
"Alright, I'll stop. As long as I get the bigger room as you promised." "Whatever, still can't believe I lost that damn bet..." Liu pouts and Jeffery laughs again, his once gloomy face turning into an amused one." Cheer up, Liu."
The boy chuckles, before grimacing when they both feel a nervousness set around them.
Jeffery glimpses around, before confronting the eye of their neighbor, a bulky laze of a man who found a notion to gape at them through the window. Jeff squints his eyes, lending him a hard cold scowl, while Liu just stands; uneasy by the stares of both.
Jeffery had stunned the man, compelling him to drop the curtain from his hand and return to what he was originally doing." Fucking creep." Jeff murmurs and Liu puts on another smile.
"At least the neighbors are interesting. I think I won't be taking a shower for quite some time," Jeff doesn't laugh, or show any expression to Liu's jokes, he merely spaced out on the window.
What an unusual man. That alone was a red sign to Jeffery, and he found himself wanting to leave this area even more.
"Jeffery! Liu! Kids, come on and assist with the boxes," Jeff hums, and Liu begins making his means inside. The brunette stands for a minute longer, watching the raindrops tumble onto the concrete, before strolling inside, walking among creaky loose wood.
He takes in the aroma of plastic and wood as he closes his umbrella, dripping the water droplets onto the porch." Don't just stand there, we have to move the boxes." His father huffs, as Liu and their mother converse over the marble island table.
Jeffery didn't heed their lazy nature, dismissing the lack of help coming from them.
He starts hoisting the boxes from the same, poorly painted, porch. The only boxes they could get out of the truck before the rain got worse, were just simple decorations and wall hangings. Awesome, he is so pleased to be moving things.
Jeffery was a simple teenager: eat, breath, sleep, angst. He was the less popular son of his parents, who was only good for something when they needed chores done or a baby to be sat. As the designated chore horse, he looked tired too; deep dark circles under his phenix eyes and a long face that was a tad too skinny. He was big boned, not adding much to his rounder gut area. Other than that he was slim, thanks to the fact his mother only ever really feeds them rabbit food. His dark brown hair had this burgundy tint to it, shaggy under his ears as he needed a hair cut. He'd never let anyone cut it, though, because he likes to fiddle with the ends to calm himself down.
