Chapter 15

I get home and Jennie is standing in front of me.

"What's happening?" She asks me

"Nothing" I say

"You and Lisa are being weird, I thought-"

"Jennie." I say and she stops talking and looks at me in the eye

"Yeah?"

"Have you ever liked someone and then ended up breaking their heart, but you have no idea how?" I ask and she furrows her eyebrows

"No?.." she says, unsure

"Well that's happening to me" I say

"You like someone?" She ask with a sad expression on her face

"Yeah.."

"Since when?! Who?!" She yells

"It's Chaeyoung" I say

"What?" She asks in tiny, her voice barely audible

"Yeah. I like Park Chaeyoung, Lisa's friend, Seulgi's cousin, your enemy. I like her" I say truthfully

"Oh" she looks down

"I'm sorry"

"What for?"

"I know you like me Jennie" I say and she looks up, her eyes widened

"H-how?!" She asks, shocked and scared

"It's pretty obvious, and I'm sorry but I don't like you that way. I don't want us to ruin our friendship either though..." I say and she starts crying

"I'm really sorry"

Suddenly she turns around and runs to her house next door

"Jen!-"

"Just...leave me alone for a while!" She yells while sobbing and then going in her house, making me feel bad

I'm sorry Jennie..

I go in my house and go upstairs to lay on my bed. I grab my phone and text Lisa.

You: Hey Lisa, I broke your girlfriend.

Lisa: What?

You: I told Jennie I didn't like her the way she liked
me and now she's heart broken

Lisa: oh

You: Do me a favor?

Lisa: What is it?

You: She will probably stay away from me in school so,
please keep an eye on her for me?

Lisa: and you'll fix whatever is going on
between you and Chaeyoung?

You: I'll try

Lisa: Alright

I put my phone down and head to sleep.

Next Day in the Morning, At School

I walk into school and everyone starts cheering again
