14. Double update!

The siblings nodded.

"Since everything is being taken care of, I'll go ahead first," the queen said.

She left the room and headed to her room upstairs. The tension inside the room lightened.

"Damn, she's a silent killer," Boy said shivering.

"Scarier than Kali?" Miya asked him

"Yes," he answered right away. The A-team chuckled at him.

"Oh, guys, tonight was tiring, do you want to chill at our club?" Boy asked them.

The A-team turned to Zed for approval.

"You guys go ahead. I'll go and check the queen first," Zed said before turning to Nero.

"I'll catch up with you later, okay?" He told her.

"Yeah, sure," Nero replied. Zed nodded and left them.

"He's close with the queen as well," Zy stated, making them look at CC to see her reaction.

"Don't look at me like that or I'll poke your eyes," she warned them.

They raised their hands in surrender. Then they heard Boy sigh.

"What now?" Jer asked

"Nothing. It's just, I miss my besh," Boy said

"Besh?" Zy asked

"Uhm. Kali," Boy said

"Since when did you two become best friends? I am her best friend," CC said

"Whatever. She's my besh," Boy defended.

"Let him be, sis. He's delusional," Jer commented.

Kith is just listening to them. He's wondering too why Kali didn't come.

"I have a question," Kith said catching the others' attention.

"What is it?" Santa asked

"Elixir never backs down to their words..." he paused.

The A-team's faces turned more serious than before. They knew where this is going to.

"Then, why did Kali break her promise that she will be here?" Kith continued.

The tension is rising again inside the room.

"You wanted her to be here? For what? To show her that you are with someone else?" Spawn said.

"Tye," Santa warned him using his real name.

"Uh, please pardon my brother. We are just worried if she's okay," CC said trying to defuse the tension.

"My sister is right. We are worried because she said she was going on a mission. And for another reason, we are missing her," Jer said.

"But it's okay if she couldn't make it. Maybe the mission is not a simple one," Zy said

"It isn't," Spade mumbled

Santa sighed. "She didn't break her promise,"

"Brye" Miya grabbed his arm to stop him.

Santa looked at her and smile and Miya let him go.

"What do you mean?" Kith asked

"Kali was here," Santa said

"She was? But why she didn't show herself?" CC asked

The A-team smirked. "We will let you figure that out, whether she showed up or not," Ace said.

"We will go ahead first. She needs us, but before that, I will give you a clue," Santa said.

"All of you talked to her earlier. So, there's your clue. Ciao! Let's go guys,"

Santa said and the rest of the team left the siblings.

"We talked to her?" Boy asked his siblings.

"I'm confused," Zy said

"When? We could've recognized her if we did," CC uttered

They are thinking of all the people they talked to earlier.

"There are not many females that we got to talk to earlier except for Miya, the queen, and that bitch," Jer pointed out.

It dawned on Kith, "Fuck,"

"What- Oh, shit!" CC figured it out too.

And like a chain effect, the rest get it. Their eyes widened and they all look at their eldest brother.

"You're dead, brother," Zy said patting his shoulder.

"Damn~" Boy exclaimed

"Ugh! Why I didn't think of it! Zed told me she's back but not sure if she'll appear- ugh! This is so frustrating!" CC said massaging her head.

"Good luck, brother. You just broke the Queen's heart," Jer shook his head.

Kith grimaced. He has a lot of explaining to do and he will start it tonight to his siblings.
