A cold

-Same.- Beatrice said sighing

-I'm sorry, babies, sit at the table now I'll put breakfast.- Toni said, she felt sorry for her kids but she felt just like them exhausted and tired but she was a little worried about her little daughter she didn't like to see her like this

When one of their kids gets sick in the Topaz house, Cheryl, Toni and all their siblings are behind this person, being aware of her since they care a lot about her, in the course of that day Toni did not depart from Rose saved to go play in the snow with Thomas since the rest of them were tired of playing in the snow and because of how little they had slept while they were away, the rest of their kids and Cheryl kept a close eye on the little girl.

 

Toni was the next, the next day while working with a sleeping Rose, she began to feel bad, her head hurt and she was more tired than usual, she put the thermometer and she had a fever so she called her wife

"Hi, baby, how are you and Rose?" Cheryl asked from the other line of the phone.

-Rose no longer has a high fever but she still has runny nose and cough.- she inform

-Oh my girl and how are you?

"That's why I'm calling you, Rose has infected me and I have a fever, could you go get our babies?" Toni asked, putting a hand to her head, being by Rose's side all the time had helped her to catch the cold from her daughter

-Oh my love.- Cheryl said worried although it was a bit logical since she was with Rose all the time and the little girl liked to stay snuggled in her.- don't worry, I'll take care of our babies

Cheryl spent the rest of the day working in the office since they were very late with the trials thanks to the snow but the redhead couldn't help but think about her wife and daughter, when she finished work she went for her children and as soon as they arrived home they left their backpacks in the entrance and went to see them

"How are you?" Cheryl asked, entering her room, but she could immediately see that her wife was worse than she had told her on the phone, she was pale and her voice was raspier than usual.

-Rose is better now.- Toni said with her scratchy voice since her throat hurt apart from her head

-Mommy.- Rose said happy although a little congested

"How are you sweetheart?" she asked, although the redhead looked at Toni with concern.

-Good.- she said smiling, although she started to cough again.- I'm watching the cartoons with mama.- she said with a smile, it doesn't matter if she was sick, the smile was never erased from her face

"Mama, you're warm," said Thomas, who had hugged her and the little boy looked at her with a concerned face

-I have a fever.- answered Toni lying back on the bed

Cheryl kissed Rose's hair and approached her wife, kissed her on the lips, instantly noticing the heat that emanated from her and stood next to her wife.- God TT.- she said, concerned about seeing her appearance.- why don't you take a cold shower to see if your fever goes down a little.- she said, stroking her hair. Toni nodded and coughed a little, reluctantly getting out of bed to take a shower while her wife and older kids looked at her with concern.

The next ones to get sick were Thomas, Cheryl and Jason as they were very close with Toni and the youngest of the family. Rose was already recovered and Toni had made an effort to take her to school as well as Beatrice and Maddie, although she wanted to stay in bed and rest but her wife needed rest
